That make Anbennar history kind of opposite than Real Life then. Instead, many empires were lost but many rise to power from the pieces of fallen empire to reforge a new empire in it's place.

You just never disappoint man, your videos are just absolutely awesome. I don't get why most popular Paradox channels focus so much on the mechanics. I love min-maxing but Paradox games are always about telling the history, at least for me. Not many channels overall can manage to put 1 hour of storytelling without super intensive visuals and be so mesmsrizng. Cheers!

i love how anbenar is a world made of small sub-worlds. From the beginning of the video you would never be able to tell the Dunmer mom says we have at home here are happening at the same time as, say, Corin making blood rain on Escann. Then you see the huge Floating-Houses on the horizon and suddenly you have to play the global game.

Yes! I think the Ynn localizations are a perfect example where text can also add another layer of immersiveness and understanding of these sub-worlds. Also, I do have the federation in sight. They are quite a unique subset of worlds in Anbennar, albeit very separated from anything else.

Honestly I appreciate seeing what the later game of Ameion was like. I played as them awhile back and found their mission tree and their campaign kindve tedious and painful to play mechanically, but very interesting story wise.

You know I do completely agree that I hate elves and Ameion, Laskaris, and all their ilk. But that's kinda why I like them in an inverse way. It's fun occasionally to basically play the villain. Or at least a bunch of assholes. Also I think they do offer an interesting perspective in the wider context, and great insight on the lore.

I personally didn‘t find the civil war too bad, but i went into the campaign prepared for something awful to happen. I think if it catches you by surprise and you (for some ungodly reason) play ironman, you will have a terrible time.

I imagine they see the other races line we see pets. Shorter lives, smaller scopes. Always messing around. Dwarves don‘t share the same geographical spaces with humans as much, otherwise they‘d be the same i imagine.
