Pukebeard, I just wanted to say I realized how smart you are. You've basically innovated a new type of nation introduction video by adding the lore content of how things can develop, the cookie cutter "This are the ideas this is your opening movies" eu4 video are boring. I would want to watch a video just because of the story telling. You're doing something unique and I appreciate the extra handwork you've put into it. I also noticed the sound quality improving.

Try playing the Varamhar, their mission tree is very interesting. Start with a powerfull magic caster leader so you can become a Lich and then through the mission tree your leader becomes the sun god.

I tried it in the past, but their mission tree depends a lot on conquests in continents that did not exist at the time! :D So Am excited to try again with them now with Haless. I played exactly Varamhar, but I did not use the spreadsheet for the correct choices and I failed making him a god in the end. :D What about the other successor states?

@@pierrehansson3718 Yea, but there are some wierd things like you get extra points if such and such estate is 60% + loyal or whatever, if you have a specific advisor, etc. You need a spreadsheet for the best outcome.

I actually had a failed run of these guys recently. After getting bored of my Castanor playthrough (the Elikand part was really cool, though), I gave them a shot. Following a guide on Reddit, I actually conquered the goblins to the north, and used the fort to protect my northern border, while conquering the peninsula to the south-west completely, taking the dwarven hold as my capital. I then got as far east as Aqatbar before being blocked by a massive Birsartanses (equal troops) allied to an even bigger Kheterata (twice my troops), who attacked well before I could finish demonsterising in hopes of being able to gain some allies. So, I went 'fuck it' and started playing as centaurs instead, to quickly see what their deal was before the Haless release. That's going a lot better. On that subject, which nations are you most looking forward to in the new expansion? I have to say, the two I'm most looking forward to aren't even in that area - the drug-dealing pirates of Mykx (I've wanted a pirate playthrough for a while) and Orc religious historians of Broken Crown (I love MTs which look like they'll dive deep into the lore). But there's so much other good stuff coming!

Oooh, the dwarven holds are on the very top of my list. All of the new ones! Then I would like to try a version of the Phoenix empire and revisit Jaddar. I am also curious about the Sarisung area.

@@pukebeard6406 The only dwarven hold that looks really enticing to me is Ovdal Lodhum (the love hold), though I may get around to the others at some point. Jaddar I've actually been putting off until Haless for a while, though since I'm doing a 'mass conquering from horseback' playthrough right now, will probably put it off a while longer (and I'll probably do a terrorbird-rider playthrough before them, anyway). Sarisung, however, I've had my eye on for a while, though I'm not sure if Haless will help their start position any, or just add even more giants ready to gobble them up. Still, fun picks! Looking forward to what videos you make of them.

With orcs you need to exploit your early game pip advantage. Orc armies go like knife through butter with all those bulwari armies. But after that it gets progressively harder to fight equal sized armies. So either you get dominant in the region before 1500, or it will be a straggle.

With the Haless update releasing soon, I highly recommend playing as the azjakuma, the Oni. They're a super cool playthrough where you corrupt all the ancient temples in Haless!

A blacktide of escann to finish what dookanson started. They got top tier ideas and with old sun cult you get top tier forts and siege ability.

I feel like in this mod only the humans able to mate with any species to produce halfling offspring and unlike ligers they can also reproduce. Kinda explains the amounts of halflings due to lack of amount of elves resulting in population mixing and halflings of orcs and humans on borderlands.

I just did this run was super fun loved the whole forgiveness aspect and culture conversion stuff fun stuff although in mine the command conquered the whole eastern half of bulwar and east sepentspine which posed a nice challenge. my first war with uber command, I had half the forcelimit and marrhold who owned all castanor and deep woods enforced peace on me which i refused fighting a war with 1-4 odds nice campaign as a friendly orc.

Yes, that's exactly what happens. And that is why I took over Arg early, then vassalized the goblins for a little bit of extra force limit and income, to compensate a bit.

Feiten is fantastic btw. Ditto for Beikdugang, but you have to be so careful that the Lake Federation doesn't fall to Khuraen Ülaaeg. They turbo-trampled the Lake Fed so the rest of my mission tree got permanently stuck. (ironman in Anbennar for no good reason gang rise up)

One thing that is annoying to deal with is how much culture micromanagement there is to finish later missions. If you don't plan ahead you can easily get softlocked. Especially with how vassal heavy your play is. Also mission that makes your vassals purge non-human races doesn't really work.

That’s how I ended up playing until the mid 1700. I was still converting cultures.

@@pukebeard6406 In my game I left Ovdal Tungr as a vassal so they developed the hold to 70+ dev. Then I realized I need to culture convert them and it takes like 100 years even with mission discounts... (console commands for the rescue + never play ironmode on modded game)
