The key difference with this Anbernic device is it works straight out of the box… no tinkering or messing around with settings like you normally have to do. It seems like someone at Anbernic took the time to make sure the interface actually functioned properly.

As a previous gen Anbernic owner I would quite happily purchase this slight upgrade, they really are well made devices for the money. Perhaps worth mentioning that out of those 38k games that quite a lot won't work or will be the same game with multiple revisions and I guess quite a few of those msx games need a virtual keyboard to work! Games chucked on to make it look more attractive is crap unless they work, I'd love to see Anbernic whittle these down and make each one more streamlined for its relevant console... Good video Chigz

I think the duplicate games are in the old Atari and Amiga, MSX the proper old SKOOL systems. I mainly play SNES, Gamecube, Dreamcast, N64, PSX and PSP and some neo geo and CPS3 and for those systems I don't see any duplicate games.

Your comment leads me to believe you are familiar with this world. I am 52 disabled from pain and need access to more games than the PS4 provides. I have played all my RPGs to death and need some variety. I unfortunately bought the retroid 2 plus and then realized I have no clue how to get emulators and roms. And no one that I am aware of makes a video explaining how. So before I buy this one or some other one with preloaded games. Could you tell me in your opinion what one is the best for variety lots of RPGs preloaded and connects to the TV? Or are you aware of someone that has a video showing step by step as if I am 5 years old where and how and what emulators to get and roms. Thank you

@@ChigzTech Yeah I get that and I'd say most folks buying this would play the same consoles. It doesnt distract from the fact that the company "wow's" you with 35k games and most of them really won't work, some will need a keyboard, loads will be in a language that you cannot understand or be total rubbish. Your video shows they loaded 6531 SNES games on it but in reality only 1757 were ever actually released! Same for NES, Gameboy (all revisions), Megadrive, Gamegear etc, etc. It's all b*llsh## advertising, just feel you should mention this on these type of videos for your followers/subscribers...you're only helping to promote Anbernic's (and I know they are not the only ones) false headlines

Most of the games don't show art work on my version of this handheld. bought the 256gb purple version. Also super Mario Bros racing game SNES wasn't on it that was my favorite video game have find that ROM. it's a good system set-up handheld system overall. Thanks for the QR code 👍

To get art work, press start connect to WiFi from network settings, then go to scraper and scroll down and select scrape now and it will start downloading all missing artwork. May take a while, you can see progress at top right.

I recently bought powkiddy and there’s many games Intalled but the Nintendo 64 games some are unplayable and others glitch. Bomberman 64 for example only work Ed for the first level until you get to the boss dragon and the screen goes black and in battle the same thing happens. Does this device play them good? Also would like to know if it has more variety of psp games installed that are playable?

You can get imitation versions for cheaper on Aliexpress. You can tell what's fake and what's real by the price. I would stick with the links in the description box. (GoGameGeek) Not only do I receive their products in good time, I have never have had to pay any duty fees. Can't say the same about Aliexpress, so be careful.

Switch power off completely. SO keep power button pressed until unit is off. Then make sure the smaller sd card is in slot 1. Then power on and linux should boot.

Anbernic are always higher price, they are quite premium in parts used and you can certainly feel the difference between an Anbernic and a cheaper generic brand. Would be nice if these were slightly cheaper though.

If that thing has a wifi and a android system. Why not just download and add games there if it has a browser or a chrome. Rather than take your sd card and put it on your laptop?

Help please! I got the 256gb also, but mine only comes with 4,638 games, not 35,000. 🥺 I’m missing the Pokémon ones and those are the ones I wanted the most. Did I get a faulty one? I ordered straight from Anbernic. I really didn’t want to have to add or download games because I’m so computer illiterate and I don’t have a computer, hence buying this preloaded device. As a long time user of these devices this is the best for someone who enjoys the Original Gameboy look. I've been Using emulators and roms all the way back to late 2000s when the first android phone came out the G1. If you prefer a more comfortable feel go with the 353p or 353m if it's nostalgic feelings go with this one that's why I like this one it reminds me of the Gameboy but updated. I use the word comfortable loosely because I find it extremely comfortable but that's just me I don't like the consoles that look like a Nintendo switch so I enjoy this vertical model. I also own the previous vertical model and love that one 2. These can be purchased on Amazon with games installed..get new micro sd cards because the ones they come with make the cosle crash but this is known by everyone and who wouldn't want to upgrade to faster storage anyway even if they didn't crash you still want all horsepower this has to offer.
