ANC and DA at loggerheads in Gauteng

The ANC in Gauteng says it will not be bullied by the DA. The party insists Premier Panyaza Lesufi will proceed with the announcement of his new executive today in the wake of disputes with the DA. In yet another dramatic turn of events last night, Lesufi again could not reveal the names of his MECs, a development ANC provincial secretary, TK Nciza, blames on the DA.

Lesufi now showing his true colours. A fair split of the 10 MEC positions are ANC 5/ DA 4 / FF+ 1 - which is in line with simple mathematical calculation. The current ANC 8 / DA 2 is most definitely not a fair split in line with the voting results.

I really think that the DA should actually be very grateful to be included in the GNU. During apartheid, people who were under the umbrella of apartheid they could'nt even utter words like compromise or any synonyms of such word, as the then government excepted them to just do whatever they were told to do by the the "government". To try to put it in the right way for everyone to understand it, the people who were under apartheid were not even allowed to vote, therefore, someone who understands, it means that, they didn't have a government as they were not allowed to vote, as they were just happy to do what they were told to do, and QUESS what?, nothing was supposed to be suspended or postponed as there was no need for the government to do that. Now that the apartheid is over and all the laws are made by a different government, is it difficult for the DA to do accept some of those laws. It looks like the DA party is going to take a lot of time to adjust to that. The DA party should not worry about that, as they can take all the time they need trying those adjustments, absolutely no rush for doing that. In the mean time, the ANC party governmtent and the other parties in the GNU will continue with their jobs of developing the S.A country and its citizens. The bad thing for the DA party is that they will need to have to deal with a speedy catch up as they will be already late. That is what the "UBUNTU" is all about.

It might take someone a lot of time to explain, as I am going to try to samarise what I am talking about. Try to forget about the percentage you are mentioning. Even if the ANC did not manage to achieve the required number of the voters that let them to be in government alone, there is no any other political party that achieved the number that entitled them to be in government on their own without the coalition with another political party, even the DA party, did'nt achieve the number that entitle them to form the DA party government on their own, as they still need to have a coalition to make it into government. Therefore, irrespective of those highest percentages, the ANC party government still has more powers in the government than anyone of the political parties. Therefore, the ANC party is still the boss of all the political parties and the ANC party has got the last word, e.i. whether those political parties, like it or not.

This is because the black settlers didn't know how to farm in winter rainfall areas , otherwise they would already have taken over all of the land of the Khoi San.
