Consolidation of concepts, not ploughing through a massive curriculum overloaded with assessments. 30 in a class maximum, otherwise it's crowd control. Teach student teachers HOW to teach literacy and numeracy. Children should leave the foundation phase able to read and write and work with numbers. Those teaching student teachers should spend regular time teaching children IN schools to be aware of the challenges. Children deserve teachers who are well trained and passionate about making a difference.

Employ At least 2/3 social workers per school to assist with the psycho-social issues such as Teenage pregnancy, Substance abuse, Trauma and mental health of our learners.
