Thanks for this, I run a ScanGuageII in both my 4-cyl Tacoma and the old LC, but was needing something BlueTooth and iPad capable. Ordered just now and I appreciate the discount, I also had a feeling you were into those small 3/16 wrenches 😁

I really like that 3/16 wrench idea, it's a little less sharp in the pocket than a cross LOL. Keep putting out the amazing content Doc, love your show.

For the last 25 plus years I've had one of those (old logo) Snap-On key chain slot head screwdrivers on my key ring. The one thats about 2 1/4" long, with a 9/16" box end opening. It's both made & plated very well, to this day showing little wear.

I have been an Automotive Technician for over 25 years and when a device such as this is put into the wrong hands , the outcome is sometimes unbelievable !

Just a heads up to any whom it may concern, Bluetooth elm327 obd scanners + the torque pro app can be had for less than $20. At least was far as Android users go (I don't know about apple devices). Nothing against this creator or the device but I didn't hear any other advantage this till offers for over 2x the cost. I've owned several over the years and they're pretty reliable.

@genio a check engine light? Yes it does. Again, I've used them for years. And add long as the reason for the fault is is repaired it will remain cleared. If you clear it without repairing the fault it will just return, but you can definitely clear the codes. For that matter disconnecting the battery for a bit well clear it as well, until the fault is discovered by the ECU again. I'm not a mechanic but unless I'm misunderstanding you, that can be done with just about any obd2 scanner, it's what they're mainly marketed for.

I don't have anything like this, but I do have a laptop that is able to read and control the ECU in my serious car. It's tuned, of course. If there's a problem, hypothetically, I can log the car and the adjust whatever is necessary. Haven't had to do that since we got the tune right. Over a decade ago. FWIW, we've had these capabilities, including a dashboard as in the app, since 2003. With our family cars, I disconnect the ground to clear an occasional CEL. That's about the only issue that comes about.

Hello George. The transmitter is easy to connect and the app is as easy as it looks. The real challenge is understanding what all the data means. I usually just look at a few things that make sense to me. Vehicle techs can diagnose and predict simplifying and speeding up repairs. But this is a great place to start since the sensor is inexpensive (use my discount code) and the app is free.

just bought one, it is working on my 2012 Chevy Spark but it is not working on my 2018 SUZUKI VITARA. It connect via BT but cannot totally connect when trying to scan. Hope you can help me sir. Thanks.
