Hey Nick, your channel has helped me out a ton in my career. Without your videos I would have been totally lost on how the automotive industry worked before I had ever worked at a dealer. I'm just about to finish up the Toyota T-Ten program that you've been through. I worked a couple of Toyota dealerships for a while and after watching your videos and using the tips from your ASE videos I have 4 ase's now and I switched over to the Lexus side of things I work at a Lexus dealership as an apprentice and I am very grateful for everything. As you know being an apprentice the amount of tools you need is almost infinite. Having something like this scan tool would help me out a lot as I tend to do a lot of work at home and on family and friends cars and I can use it to diagnose things both at work and at home, thank you for everything ❤️

Hey Nick, I just opened up my own shop. I've been wrenching on cars since I was a kid learning the tricks by my father. I learned a lot by getting cussed out at and holding the flashlight. I thoroughly enjoy wrenching and giving back to my employees as much as I can. If I were to win this scan tool, I would immediately give it to my employee. Everyone deserves to get a head start in this buisness. Thanks Nick, keep wrenching!

Awe man! Who did I miss this video?! Thought this was your latest. Anyway, might be to lil too late, but to share with u anyway. I’m Ernie former Honda tech at a dealer for 24 years. I left the dealer ship April of 2021! And it feels great! I love your videos about dealership life! Everything u have said is 💯spot on! That scanner would really work wonders for me. As I help friends and family with their vehicles. Sometimes I’m limited because of the lack of cool features such as body codes and Evap code function. Working at the dealership we had that awesome factory scanners… That’s why I never spent money buying those fancy scanners. Just generic scanners that could read monitors and read/ erase codes! Awesome work man!

Nick, I am not your typical viewer, I am getting ready for retirement from my accounting career. In 2 and a half years, after I retire, I am going to start an automotive repair business. Mechanic work has always been my first love. I was a Heavy Wheel Vehicle Mechanic in the army during Desert Storm. The 2 and a half years between now and retirement is being spent getting educated and doing some light mobile mechanic work. 2 weeks ago I passed my first ASE test, engine repair. ASE took my experience from the army and I can wear the patch now. My mechanic experience since my days in college, when I worked as basically a grease monkey for a concrete company, has been repairing my cars, my kids cars and some of my friends cars. This scan tool would really help me further my preparation and education. It would also help me take the next step and start working on the side. Thanks Neil

What’s up from Hawaii Nick, I’m a GM guy but my wife is into Toyotas… we’re trying to get a GR Corolla but as I’m sure you know how Toyota’s convoluted dealership system is and who can buy what car. To compound things I only just recently found out that Toyota USA is not affiliated with Servco Toyota (the only dealership on island). So the standard factory Toyota warranty is not honored because Toyota USA treats Hawaii as another country!! We are basically at the mercy of in essence a independent repair shop doing warranty work on new Toyota vehicles! A tool like this would be great to at the very least verify any work needing to be done or being done at the “dealership,” and be able to get around the paywall on dealer level scan tools for hobbyist people… it’s just not practical if it’s not making you money but something you need to do many simple repairs, catch 22 lol. Anyway I appreciate the videos, they are entertaining and informative!

Hi Nick, I am auto mechanics lived in Kansas. I have watched your video on ASEs and life of being a mechanic in different kind of shop. Your video gave me lots of inspiration on career path decision. I went through dealership and looked for heavy diesel job now. I also just had my ASE master tech certification. I wished I can have this scan tool because I only have cheap scan tool which reads codes only. A decent scan tool can save times and help diag faster. I will use this tool on my own home project and help out my friends with their car problems. I also want to use it for work, but hopefully no one steal my tool. Thank you for your videos, please keep posting new ones!

My name is Javier De la Rosa and I'm wrenching out of Baltimore, MD. I started automotive pretty late in life at 28 in the spring of 2021. I was a truck driver by trade for several years before automotive. My 1st gig was at a VW dealership. I was there for about a year, I learned the basics from oil changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, etc. I wanted to learn more so leaving the dealership made sense for me so I ended up getting my 2nd gig at an independent shop which is where I currently work at now. Things definitely turned up by several notches. I work next to the shop foreman which is a plus. Not just him but my other fellow techs have been nothing but mentors to me as well as the techs at the dealer. The guys at the independent shop are nourishing and developing me. They all share their information with me which is beyond helpful. There's no side work period at my independent shop. Every shop is different so it is what it is. A scan tool like this would be a big help for side work outside of our customers and the shop. Side work is something I'd like to get going for myself in 2023. Trying to build my own clientele that's completely irrelevant to the shop. Keep doing what you're doing Nick. Happy holidays to you and your family.

Hello Nick, I really enjoy your channel, especially your Toyota videos and your experience working at the Toyota dealerships, from leaving to go to BMW, and going back to Toyota and the Diesel shop. Watching you work on your drift car, repair tips and the product reviews. I have purchased a few of the tools you have done reviews on. I recently retired and I am slowly acquiring tools to use in the home garage that I didn't need before, since I had access to them at work. The Ancel V6+ would be a great addition for when I have to chase down corroded connections on Evap, or ABS sensor connections I often see working in the Rust Belt in Western New York. Having a Bluetooth scan tool would really help with bleeding brakes and actuating the ABS solenoids while cracking the bleeders and using my Fender Lizard to actuate the brake pedal, (I work alone). It would also be handy to view scanner data when checking wheel speed sensors when under the vehicle and either manually turning the wheel or using my Waekon ABS sensor simulator/reader to verify the wiring back to the module. Again thanks for taking the time to run your KZbin channel and all the information you have given me and all the viewers that subscribe and give you a thumbs up. Looking forward to your next video. Aloha Nick, I’ve been working in an independent shop for a year now. I have been progressing and getting more into diagnostics since going flat rate. I work with two other techs, one has his snap on scanner and the shop had a snap on scanner, I’m usually left waiting for the shops scanner to be available to diagnose and repair the vehicles I get. This would be a tremendous help with flagging more hours and the wireless feature is a huge plus, along with being able to do some things the current scan tools we have aren’t able to, but most importantly I will be able to use this to help my family out with vehicle maintenance and repairs when I’m not in the shop. Becoming a tech has been the best decision I have made and a huge mahalo goes to you because your channel and videos you post really gave me the courage to do it. I’m working through my schooling to make the switch to a diesel tech, it’s awesome to see you doing that as well. It is kinda funny we look similar but you’re way better looking 😂 Mahalo’s for all the knowledge you share and keep up the awesome work.

Hello Nick, I actually started seeing your videos ever since you were in Toyota and made videos on the drift builds. the best video that really helped me out was the oil lube routine. I’m now on my own flagging at the dealership. I now go back and tell the guys to watch you and to learn from you because since it helped me move out of the lube rack in less then 4 months it can help out all the other guys starting out too. The scanner would help me out in many ways not only at my job and to make flag hours but to help out the homies that need their cars looked at. But over all Great videos. And it’s great to see that you got your own house congratulations.

I’m 22 have learned a lot. My father does a lot of side work and ask me for help since he does auto body and newer tech isn’t his thing. I also have a new vehicle and drive so much my warranty is going be over soon. I’d enjoy this tool so I can perform side work and stuff for friends and just be able to work on my own stuff.

Hey Nick. So i actually followed your footsteps. I'm currently working at a Toyota Dealership, I was a TXM tech but now I just got moved up to apprentice after 2 years and a few ASEs. This scan tool would help me flag more hours more efficiently as I currently have an outdated innova scan tool that only works from years 2014 and older and the techsreams are always being used. This would help me be more efficient which in turn would mean more money as well as work on my cars at home.

The nice honest gentleman whos profile is now deactivated sold me one that jut only happened to stop working when I went home to use it .. Nick, first off great video!! I'm from NJ and went to lincoln tech for automotive, then got a job at kia and worked there for about 3 years. I watched how u left toyota and went into the diesel field, at the same time I was frustrated at kia with a bunch of issues so I went back to job searching. A great oppourtunity came up for me to enter into aviation ground service equipment so I took the offer and have been loving it ever since. I work on a lot of diesel and light/heavy equipment, range of cars that we have on our fleet, so I'm doing good amount of diagnostics. My boss is very cool and he lends me his scan tool when I need to use it but it would be a blessing to finally have my own.

Hey Nick. I've aspired to be a technician throughout school. One of my greatest struggle was believing in myself and my abilities. I knew how to do oil changes to get into the lube rack at any dealership but I just struggled believing myself. Recently I got into a dealership as a new technician. I'm a little more confident with my abilities. I'm still in the training phase of it. But it has been motivating me to be a better me. I work at Toyota. I want to work my way up as fast as possible because I want more interesting aspects of being a technician. I'm currently studying for my ASE A6 (electrical). I just want be doing bigger and better things. Your videos helped me a lot in my journey, especially ones in regards to working at a dealer, mistakes made a long the way, and the tool list. Getting the job was easy, but I had been unemployed for so long getting the needed tools were difficult. Because I'm a new technician I do not have many tools but I do have the bare minimum which is okay. It would be really cool to have a fancy scan tool to add to my tool collection and utilize it for diagnostics.

Hey, what's up Nick. I always wanted to be a vehicle tech even from a young age, so I followed my dreams. I have 2 years of college experience doing 2 courses in vehicle maintenance, then Toyota reached out to me to say they needed an apprentice, so here I am nearly 1 year since I've been working with them. The Toyota Techstream software is good but not as quick as I wanted to be and they only operate on windows OS. This scan tool would be much of help, as it's quick and does all the necessary things that the manufacture software does. Sometimes we got different brand vehicles with faults and we only got a hand held scanner to read the codes only, which is not the most helpful thing in order to diagnose faults. I forgot to say at the beginning that I'm from UK. That's about me Nick, take care.

I’m doing a lot more diag now that I got my certifications and the shop only has a few tech streams, so I lose alot of time waiting for a scanner. Winning this scanner would help me a lot with diag and losing time at work which cost me money. Hey nick I'm actually getting into the automotive industry and so far been part of it for 2 years and still going to college for it as well but most obd2 scanners are expensive I would love a scanner like that so u can start off a small business and hopefully one day grow into one of the biggest automotive shops as of right now I'm just working from my garage fixing family cars and restoring an oldschool Camaro hopefully I can have a chance if not I'll be happy for whoever wins it

Yo! Yo! Yo! What is up guy!! 😁 I’m very new in this industry, I can’t tell I’m a mechanic or a technician yet. Two years ago I started my journey to be mechanic by watch from youtube how to fix my car, work as lube guy and I’m work at used car dealership now as a mechanic helper (Level C Technician, I think I am 😜) I just enroll to community college for Automotive Technician, start next year I’m so excited, I’m gonna be a freshman again when I’m 42 hahaha. I’m looking for a good scan tool, I never had it before. I bought my tools little by little as I can afford but I think it should invest for my job. If I can get this scan tool from you, it’s gonna help me a lot to have tool for my job, for learning and for to be a good Technician (like you😜) in near future. Whatever I have to say “Thank you so much, you made these videos, they are good information and inspiration not only for me but I think for many people who wanna work in this industry or who wanna be Good Good Good Mechanic, Thank you So Much” Have a great day. Buzzzzz!!!! (Sorry about my English too, it wasn’t good enough)

Hey Nick, loving the channel been an Automotive Technician for the last three years started off at an independent shop doing tires slowing growing into the technician role. Decided to go to Ranken a Technical College part time which took me to a new level. Got out of the independent shop and went to a dealer. I really don’t know if I’ll use this at the dealer all that much but I miss working on other makes and models would really like to take some side work on and help me get better at diagnosing other makes.

Yo Yo, worked in an independent for couple years and been working in a diesel fleet shop lately. We still have a lot of cars/ light duty that use OBD2 and Im also doing side work and it would really help me get more work done that requires a scanner. It would make my job easier so I don’t have to grab the computer and dig through endless amounts of cords to find the OBD2 connector😂. Love the channel been watching you for the past 4 years when you started posting drifting videos, drifting is dope.

What's going on man, i'm 21 and have been working at a small independent shop for almost 2 and a half years now, and i seriously believe this scan tool will be very helpful for me because at the shop i work for we only have 1 scan tool. Reason being since it's a small shop, there's a handful of us techs and the shop provided just 1 scan tool for all of us to use. Now reason for it helping me is there have been many moments where I'd have to wait til one of the techs finishes using it for me to get a turn. So, being able to not deal with that hassle anymore will surely be great man. Also, it'd save me so much money from having to buy one off either online or the tool trucks. Can't wait for the giveaway man, and i hope you're doing well at your workplace!

I just got back into automotive repair after working on RV’s for years so I never had the need for a scan tool back then. I work at an independent shop now and they always have me doing diags and we all share one super basic Autel scanner. I would love to buy a scanner but with a newborn and switching from dual to single income since momma needs to stay home and take care of his special needs, funds are pretty tight lol. If I could spend on a scanner what I spend on diapers and formula each month 😂

So the first video of yours I watched was the Bauer 3/8in impact from harbor freight and I legit went out and bought one that same day after watching that video so far so good I used it for a motor mount job and I’m happy with it. I’m a Technician at Chrysler been wrenching for about 6 years now started at the tire shop worked my way up to lube tech at a dealership with Honda and am now on the main line with Chrysler if I had that scan tool I’d honestly probably be using it close to everyday 😂 I think I had at least 1 car every day this week come in for “customer states check engine light is on”

After reading some of the other comments I'd pass it along to one of them where it would help someone out who's just getting started. Enjoyed your review. Thanks for Sharing!

Yo! Love the info you provide. I’ve been working as a Mercedes Benz tech at a dealership for the last two years. I’ve been picking up side jobs here and there on pretty much any brand. I could really use a good scan tool to help that along. This thing would also come in handy when doing used car inspections/trade ins at the dealership as we don’t have a dedicated does all brands scan tool, just the Mercedes one.
