Howdy 🤠 I’ve been working on cars with my uncle since I was a kid. He has always had some kind of race car, when I turned 20 I started working at Firestone as a flat rate tech and made good money but decided that I’d rather do it for side work when it comes to working on cars. Now I am a construction worker side hustling mechanic work. Having this scanner would be a game changer for me, I don’t get to do a lot of engine diag because I don’t have a good scanner

Bmw tech in Fremont ca been a tech for 4 years. Did uti in Sacramento, ford fact, smog program, and Bmw step. Was hourly for 6 months with no prior experience. Now been at 3 dealers around the bay. At times I regret uti but I had a super fun time and meet hella cool dudes 😂. I fell in love with my ek 4 door and joined auto rop in high school. I needed to leave my hometown and uti was best choice in my eyes back then. The experiences of leaving the nest to pursue an automotive career at 17 being a first generation Latino was all worth it. My daughter was born 2 months after graduation of Bmw step and it couldn’t have been more of perfect timing. First time I heard of you was in my Bmw training class where we watched your video as a class. Got me thinking bout putting my time in and switching to fleet before 25

My name is Gabriel , I’m a head technician for a independent repair shop for Toyota and Lexus only . I’ve been in the automotive flied for the past 5 years now , at the moment at the shop it’s just me and my boss and 1 lube tech . But since my boss takes care of all the office work , it leaves me to do all major work and just this year I gain my bosses trust in opening shop for him , interacting with customer and also making charges and writing quotes for customer as well as assistant them with questions and concerns. I work 12-14 a day but my tool set isn’t the greatest but I do get by with what I have now . So not only am I a head tech , I manage the shop for my boss . We have over 9000 customers and a 5-star rating on yelp and we’re always booked up 3-weeks in advance. I love what I do , I love working with our customer everyday, I put in the hours , I put in the work and I hope one day I run the shop for my boss

Turning 32 in november so little older or late start, but i just started at my local Toyota/GM dealer on the lube rack. Major upgrade to valvoline instant oil change which is where i started a year ago. Trying to accumulate tools since they ask you to bring your own is spendy.. aspecially now, ha. I am eager, though, because i enjoy the work, to be honest, and the pay is much better than what i was getting at vioc. Helps with getting tools and taking care of my mom since my father passed.

The Army always provided all kinda tools for military vehicles, so I didn't have to have the tools but now I do need my own tools for my career and DIY mechanic. I am still deciding between light-duty (automotive) and heavy-duty (diesel trucks) because all military vehicle is heavy-duty and that's all I have worked on past 20+ years. That looks to be a nice and powerful tool. Shadetree mechanic here, would be nice to replace my cheap code reader with it. Watching your videos from the DFW area.

Currently working at Christian Bro’s Auto. Was my first job, been here for about 1 years and 4 months. Moved up from the lube rack and currently getting mentored with the foreman to become a line tech. Appreciate your video’s, and you definitely influenced my decision on what career path I wanted to take once I graduated high school. ✌️

Started with T-Ten in Ventura College, worked at Lexus for about 1 1/5 years. Now working at a Porsche dealership as service technician. Loving everything about it. I remember watching your videos before I started at Lexus to get an idea of what to expect

Awesome video Nick! Scan tool seems to have many features and versatility for the price range. (maybe repeat that Silverado battery test. Electrical rule # 1 measure 2 or 3 times, repair or replace once.) Peace and continued success to you!
