Please everyone understand the point of this video is to show that we all as human beings are connected. Please do not get caught up or focus on whether I am this or that and just take information for what it is. Spread love and light. And if you spread negativity or hate on my channel you will be blocked. Thank you to all who have said such beautiful and kind words I truly appreciate it.

580player You should also add that the ancestors of the people who classify themselves as "white" invented human races to rationalize their continual enslavement of Africans and theft of indigenous people's lands. A "racial hierarchy" was created in which Western European enslavers placed themselves on top and Africans and indigenous people of the Americas and South Pacific were placed at the bottom. The enslavers thought it was their right and duty to dominate and mistreat all the "lower races" as "they" were the "superior race".

I guess I will put this out there again since I have many people who are not reading or actually listening to what I stated in my video. Anyone who uses profanity or says anything hateful on here will be deleted and or blocked. Please do not use my video to push your own agenda. We should all be grateful that we come vast backgrounds and at the end of the day embrace each other as the same because no one is better than the next person. Please stop stating that I am this or that I am a human being like everyone else that embraces her Dominican culture. Yes I am come from African roots and bunch of other places but my culture is Dominican! Thanks for watching and I hope that this makes others want to do the kit and feel connected to the person next to them because honestly I feel like thats the true point in doing any of these Ancestry DNA kits. And again thank you to all of you who have said positive messages. Spread Love and Light!

I think these tests are so cool! You really get to find out things that you might not have known. When it comes down to it I love how these tests kind of point out how we really are all connected, so if we spent more time embracing one another's similarities and APPRECIATING one another's differences this world would be a much better place!

Ustedes nos usan y después nos abusan en toda parte de America Latina usted se parece a los que nos violaron y asesinaron con ese tipo de pensamiento, pero go off white supremacist with all your prejudice you will never be accepted with your Spaniards because of your most likely tainted bloodline regardless of the colonist ideologies you share.
@GamingSuperFreak6 жыл бұрын
Johannes Hügel You speak about blacks as if most Hispanic culture isn’t more African than African-Americans are like where do you get off putting someone down ? You sound like one of them goofy latin nazis, you don’t even know the history of slavery ignoring the facts that people from different places of Africa mixed because of their displacement in the Diaspora. Many slave rebellions early on were done in pacts with the indigenous people and the founding fathers of many Latin Countries were black. Your prejudices and ignorance will not erase my culture its history and our bloodline somos negros and proud of it. From los Niche de Colombia, los Garifuna de Honduras, Los Cocolos de la República Dominicana etc. We are here and not going anywhere.

All Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans have similar results and of course some may vary more than others. Understand that yes we are all mixed with Italy, Spain and Africa being those are the big numbers but we were or I should say our Ancestors were Taino Indians of the Caribbean. We have Been DILUTED to the MAXIUM so always remember your Ancestors and pray for them because they paid the ultimate price with their Lives when they had that Fist encounter ( they were Enslaved, Raped, Killed, tortured to the point of Extinction) with Columbus and the Spaniards!! History made us at the crossroads and never forget where you came from......You're Beautiful and very intelligent Curly and God Bless you each and every day.

Keep in mind that this woman is not African American, because culturally, she is Hispanic. She may be Afro-Latina or whatever you wish to refer to her as, but she is still Hispanic, just as Puerto Ricans and Cubans are. Most Hispanic people have black or Amerindian blood, if not both, mixed into them, as well as European blood. Still, or customs and heritage are completely different from that of a black American. Our food, music, and values are completely different. Whether you want to accept it or not, Afro-Latinos are not African American. They are just as Latino as a white latino person is, because ultimately we are all differently colored people with a shared culture that was influenced predominantly by the Portuguese and Spaniards. So please stop labeling every dark skinned person as just “black” and realize we all have our own cultures and ways of acting. Many Caribbean Hispanics are dark, but they are not, and will never be, African American. They will always be Latino, and that is all that matters. Accept them for what they truly are- Hispanics with African ancestry.

In another video I watched, it was explained that Ancestry uses mitachondrial DNA which would exclude any male DNA in your genetic makeup unless it was passed down by a female family member. So the less females to pass it along to the less to see in your DNA. That is why the Great Britain was so high.

I think the major issue in the comments is... 1) the idea that a lot of Dominicans don't think they're African and people are trying to oppose that 2) telling people what they should identify as Both of those issues cause lots of conflict with race because there is a lot of unspoken racism or colorism in the Latinx community however on this channel, coming from this woman's mouth...she is expressing nothing but acknowledgment for all of the ethnicities that make up her DNA. She mentions multiple times that she has African ancestry along with European and native American (taino). Please don't push people in a box telling them what you think they should call themselves. She posted a video of scientific evidence proving the certain percentages of ancestors that passed down her traits to her. She can embrace the other parts if she wants to. She can identify as afro-latina, simply Dominican, mixed, or black since it is the majority. I'm assuming her nationality is the identity she relates the most with-- the food she ate growing up or the way she was raised, etc. The issue with being called black for latinos is that its a lazy term that categorizes us with anyone with a darker complexion or thick, curly hair. However some latinos have no connection to their roots or neither do they speak the language therefore if they grew up around black people, theyre gonna claim what they relate to the most and that's fine, but at the end of the day its a choice.

I encourage everyone to use their country ranges to actually determine their percentages. For example, the first country that showed up was Great Britain with 25% but the range was from 12% -34%, Nigeria with 21% with a range from 2 to 41%. The only country I had that didn’t range from 0 were Great Britain, Nigeria, Senegal, and Southcentral Bantu. Anyway my test came out I’m 68% AA but the ranges say I could be anywhere from 37-67% African. So the 68 doesn’t rly make sense. It’s just an average after all which ancestry says is unlikely to be your actually percentage because of the ranges I posted above. But yeah. I’d go by your lower range instead of the estimate

I strongly suggest you do a Dna land test that is very accurate.A Nigerian living in Nigeria from Delta state took the Ancestry Dna test for fun sake and the result was shocking and surprising.The result said that he was only 6% Nigerian.The result also stated that he was 66% Benin/Togo and 25%Cameroon/Congo.And then he took the Dna land test and that gave him the accurate result 97% Nigerian.
