That is not true. Eva has African DNA as most Mexicans. Brown comes from Black. I wouldn't be surprised if Jessica and Mario has African also. If you're going to tell it - Tell it All!

@@rg1924 Spaniards spent time in Spain also Mexico and Phillipines had a trade route. So we definitely have alot in common and share similar dna, traditions etc thanks to the Spanish.

@@shoshanasadeh1266 brown comes from black? There is some balck element in Mexico, but we are mostly native americans. At least half of Mexicans are almost pure native americans, 35% mestizos, and 15% whites. Black is about 1% in Mexico. Nothing against black, that's just how it is. The countries that have more black are Brasil, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic etc.

mistake. marios "british" blood could be galacian since they are basically celtic, just like the native british. so his ancestors could have come from spain with the same markers as a brit or irishman.

your right the british ancestry is probably very old genes in Iberia, I mean Europeans are Europeans there is going to be a lot of genetic sharing and similarity between brits and Spaniards.

TheTokyo1 you don't have to have a British surname to have British ancestry for all I know I could have British ancestry since one of my great grandparents ( mother's lineage ) was from Texas as we all know Texas during the 1800's had a lot spanish colonists and anglo Saxons ( English ) so there could have been intermixing

Spain was invaded by all those different countries, and then in turn Spain invaded Latin America. George Lopez, Eva Longoria, and Adrienne Bailon all had similar results to Mario Lopez. Latinos are fusion of all the different races. His genetic results are typical of the average Mexican mestizo. In 1925, Mexican philosopher, José Vasconcelos wrote an essay entitled, La Raza Cósmica. So, when Chicanos say, “Viva la raza!” People should not be offended. They are merely saying long live the race, the human race!

Alejandro Beltran Meza Felix Latino is a label, Latinos in the US are all put into one category , Mexican culture and Puerto Rican culture are completely different for example. but yes Latino is not an ethnicity , it's just easier to label people into one group , but Latinos are mixed race (most) but then again race is a social construct

Meanwhile the perceptions of race can also be a social construct in many respects. For instance, historically in the US an individual who had any trace of visible African ancestry was often labeled simply "Black" even though they may be heavily mixed with European.

The British is from his Iberian side, Spain was invaded throught history by various countries & as his parents are from Sinaloa his tribe is probably the Mayo tribe, which orignated in his region.

The AncestryDNA test ethnicity results are giving people an idea of where their DNA was 500-1000 years ago. Most Mexicans will have some admixture of Native and European results.

if someone has 30 percent native American ancestry that is a huge part of them. There are Mexicans who are predominantly white of Spanish descent, but the vast majority are not. From what ive read the average Mexican is about 50 percent Spanish 50 percent Native.

Michelle Melton Only 9% of Mexico is predominantly or full European. The rest of Mexico is part or full native American. approximately 40 percent are about or full native American. The rest are substantially mixed native American and European. A small minority is full black, and still some have a very small percentage of African ancestry. You don't know of what you speak.

Most native americans in Mexico were short and very dark (and still are) that's why the spanish thought they were indians. The native americans in the US were tall and lighter skin tone. Mario's native blood is probably from the US or even north of Mexico.

The DNA test does not distinguish between the indigenous peoples of North America and South America. Genetically, they are the same people. The only difference is that the British colonizers spoke English, and the conquistadores spoke Spanish. That is why Mel Gibson used American Indians instead of Mexican Indians in his movie Apocalypto. As a director, he could communicate with Rudy Youngblood, the star of the movie in English.

Janet Wood You are wrong, most native mexicans did not look like north american natives. You can see it in the bone structure, eyes, etc. It would be like saying irish are the same as arabs even though both are considered white. Also, north american natives are very mix with european blood but they consider themselves native american that's why they look mexican. People from south mexico looked more like indians, north american natives looked more like mongolians. I can tell you I've encounter quite a few natives and I can tell they're mix due to their facial hair and that's when I confuse them with mexicans. True natives can't grow facial hair.

The scientific data proves that you are wrong. The DNA test classifies Irish people as European. Arabic people are classified as West Asian/Middle Eastern. Unlike, the British colonizers who decimated the native tribes of North America, the Spanish conquistadores mixed with the natives. Thus, the mestizo! (And, yes, people who are a 100% native American Indian have no facial or body hair.)
