Seriously tho!!! The fact that you can always go back to refresh your mind and honestly with basically everyone on this channel it is so easy to retain and understand.... There are so many people that try to teach and I just get bored of listening to them.

Awesome video for the average fisherman as myself. I've done and used some of your techniques but the added do's and don'ts really help. Trying some of your tips tomorrow with early fall fishing on the Columbia.

I like pulling the treble hook off of those wobblers and tying on a leader to a hoochie….they kill Kokanee!! The one Cameron is using in this video has made me a very successful Kokanee fisherman. As well as the silver pink pearlescent wobbler.

FINALLY!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! Been out here two yrs from Chicago. Was a dream of mine to have a boat on the Columbia River.Ive Fished salmon steelhead trout all my life bass pike walleye stripers too. So I just got my boat running good and started assembling gear starting from pretty much a couple of Steele head rods and creek gear. No nooks in the boat yet. I am out on Davis bar. Midwest all ya need is a deep V couple of downriggers medium rods we use spinning rods and tinsel flies. We had never used scents tuna or anything. Really getting use to the one rod limit. But I do respect it. Also shocked at stores being out of basics like lead and flashers and hot lures in season.......shocked and annoyed. Understanding the rivers have some insane walleye compared to the Midwest....am looking forward to those too. Spinners egg/leech flies spoons for creeks and streams again spinning tackle. Totally a different fishery lots to learn. Ran into your channel you guys do an awesome job. This vid was exactly what I was looking for. Tight lines gentlemen!!!

Great video if I ever come out west to fish I will have fishing for salmon in the Columbia river down pat. Very informative . Live in Michigan on the st Joseph river right at the mouth into lake Michigan. Do pretty good on the pier north and south. Walking Crank bait's along the wall of the pier. And jigging spoon's.

Hi Cam, when your plunking with plugs (and they dive without weight) , how do you know if your plug is digging into the ground?? if you're using a spreader with a weight, won't it dive with that set up?
@TeamGoneCatchin3 жыл бұрын
You'll see the rhythm stop and go. It's the plug wiggling and diving down and pausing when it hits the bottom.

Hey, if your marking fish say 10 to 15 feet up off the bottom do you still fish on the bottom or crank the gear up too where your marking them. This is a point of serious discussion between me and the wife. All answers will be kept confidential??
@TeamGoneCatchin3 жыл бұрын
If your confident in your fish finder and are sure what your making are salmon, If move to a location where the current pushes them to the bottom. This way you know your gear is going to be in their face swimming up river.
