If your getting this product make sure to check it does not rub on your legs because it will cause wounds but for most people it's no problem unfortunately I was not one of those. I'm looking into buying a pair that will address those issue plus my foot drop issues but they are not cheap 12k. It's going to be 3 yet as before I raise the money but I'll get there. Good luck on your journey and this product is hopefully your end destination.

I currently am using Matrix AFO and have broken both of them where the leg strap connects at the foot plate. I think they will replace them but when they break again (and I am sure they will) they will not replace them again. I have only had them 3 months.

I have the same AFO for both of my feet. The brace is nice but it rubs too much on my legs even with socks and it ripped my skin. I was so devastated thinking I would have to go back to use a standard AFO since I'm already size 13ft and would have to look for sizes 14-15 shoes. Sports shoes are easy to locate although your selection goes down but dress shoes are a no no having you pay extra money on a single pair if you are even lucky to find a maker. Also this brace while being light weight is better than the regular brace and it allows you to use your same size shoes but because of its design it widens your shoes badly. After getting my brace and having to go back 3 days later to Orthotic department because it cut my knees I waited another 3 weeks for my wounds to close. I still use them with thicker socks and gel implants on the site where the injuries occur on occasion when I do not want to deal with the cane.

This doesn't look like it would help much for CMT, does it prevent the foot from dropping to the outside of the foot when walking? I need something that will make my foot not do that.
