ANCHOR POINT - SURFING TAGHAZOUT MASTERPIECE | VON FROTH

The call for southern Morocco was undeniable. It was time to hunt down those legendary right-hand breaks! Anchor Point in Taghazout was on fire, delivering some fun off-shore waves. The perfect playground for the team. Big thanks to Othmane Choufani for hooking us up in his own backyard.

Love this wave so much the local crew here are all so aggressive. I’ve seen so many locals attack people for no reason except trying to protect the peak out the back. It’s a shame it’s like this but atleast there’s so many other great waves around with heaps friendlier locals. Sick video

nice video, my takeaways : - that girl rips - kolohe surf is on point - cant understand nico MEGA-WINTER wetsuit with hoodie on marrocan "hot" waters :) - happy to have been 4 times in taghazout before the surf boom (2000ish) - also happy that those locals are living better due to surf tourism

When I first surfed this wave in the 80's it was empty but few travellers , I shitted myself when big ..orcas sighting all winter , , now none

Ive been to taghazout/tamraght a couple of times before but i never felt comfortable enough to surf anchor point with my skill level (although ive been told that i should definitely try it)..... maybe next time :D
