Never knew Alaska had a density populated city. But I heard there is high crime there. Is this true? I was wondering because I was think of visiting anchorage for a little bit.

As a life long Alaskan I feel like an answer this question. Having spent the last 15 years in Anchorage, I can tell you that the town has changed quite a bit In terms of violent crime drug-related fatalities and homelessness none of which for the better. Lots of good places to eat you, have all your basic amenities here Walmart target etc. Plenty of employment opportunities for any field. Now the cost of living is very high up here but the pay can be very good. Lots to see and do if you are an outdoor type of person.
