Lots of civillians eager to comment on this before we even have bodycam footage. Let's go through a list of reasons that someone is absolutely not qualified to offer an opinion on this: 1. They haven't seen the bodycam footage. 2. They have no idea what the departments policy on escalation of force is. 3. They don't even know what the term escalation of force means. 4. They don't understand how guns work. 5. They don't understand how less lethal options work. 6. They don't understand the kind of damage a knife can do. 7. They have no experiential or educational background in use of force. 8. They mindlessly hate on, or mindlessly defend the police/criminals every time due to a bias either way. Wait till we have solid evidence either way. This could have been a good shoot or a bad one. We don't know yet. Every time someone makes an uninformed opinion on police actions it just furthers the divides in our community.
