This was definitely worth the wait; the cast is brighter than ever, the jokes are just so much funnier although at times some of the material in here is so out-of-place and defies logic you can't help but laugh, and the newer characters add some much needed flavor to things The climax is so crazy full of cameo actors it’s unbelievable that it ends up satirizing the state of the news itself This also looks at the continuing changing cycle of the news from the 1970s to the 1980s; it’s become corrupt and it’s more about the ratings rather than the stories, there’s more justification of news criticism that’s legitimate, the news itself has become more saturated Yes this movie is too long and not all the jokes work but I can’t help but laugh so hard at its sheer stupidity Ferrell and company have delivered a sequel that’s just as hilariously entertaining as the last one if not superior

This movie was sorta funny once in a while, for the most part I was kind of confused if they were trying to be funny or just bad at acting. Steve Carrell, although his character is basically just saying lazy written random things, he's just funny because he is. This is the comedy you watch if you just wanna turn your brain off and just watch some random nonsense... if not, it's pretty much useless shit...
