Ooh man Keith, it is so nice to see the smile and hear your chuckle again! I am glad to see you settling back in. You are back to making us feel like we are sitting in a chair right there in the shop again, and it is so welcoming.

Hi Keith, great to see you again. My wife and I went to the Cape for our Anniversary in 2015. I told her we have to go your shop while we’re up there. You were kind enough to invite us in and give us a tour. You even gave us a mermaid as a momento, which is proudly displayed over my work bench along with a “Gitter Done” sticker. My father in law was a machinist and he had a lathe in his basement. Just the smell of the equipment brought back wonderful memories of him and his skill. Thanks for the memories and welcome back!

So nice to see you back Keith. I’ve been along since pretty much the start and have really missed your personality and content. I reckon loads of us will understand what you’ve been through and are coming out of, it’s tough, but as they say, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger! Take care my friend and thanks again for the upload! Best wishes. Simon.

Sweet old Monarch! Can't wait to see it throughout the "restoration" process, whatever that ends up being. Great to see you back and active again Keith--very much missed seeing your videos. You and Mrpete are the two guys that I'll basically stop whatever I'm doing, to watch one of your new videos. Glad life is leveling out a bit for you now.

Shop is looking good. I so agree about placing machines so that you will in the future be able to handle long materials on them as that always comes up in a job shop. The Monarch tracer attachments are extremely well made. If you take the bearings out be ready for about a day setting new ones back up as they are eccentric mounted so you can adjust for 0 clearance which on that many surfaces is a bit tedious. LOL

Nice to see you back and in good shape the most important is to build your shop to suit your needs . It is important to be comfortable where you spend an important part of your life. At the age you' are, ( we are about the same age ) this shop is probably your last one so building it to feel at home is the way to go have a good day

One good thing about having you move your entire shop after using it in one place for so long is that you knew exactly how to arrange everything! I'm impressed with how the placement all turned out in what seems like a space with lots of shapes to work around. Seems like the access and workflow is pretty great

Greetings Keith from the east side of the pond. You have been missed for sure. It’s a relief to see you looking well & making excellent progress with sorting the layout & functionality of your shop. Anchors have a habit of dragging some, but with time and effort, it comes good 👍. I’m looking forward to seeing more videos of your projects, it’s something to look forward to & makes me smile 😊. All the best.

Hey Keith. Like many others here. I have been watching you from the start. I must admit I have skipped a few videos along the way for different reasons ?? So my frequent watch count might be down a little from where it could be, LOL. Just watching you walking around the shop showing different things along the way. One that stuck out a little more than the others ? The Plasma Cam, already 10 years old now. Doesn't the time fly by ?? I still remember you setting it up at the old shop. You gave the feeling that this was like getting all your Christmas presents all at once. Great to see you here back on KZbin. I still prefer to watch you here, just a preference to where else you might like to post. Wish you all the best for what is coming up next in your shop and your life. Peter 👍

Welcome back! Life goes on... I'm 63 as of Nov 21. Watching your vids and Adams make me wonder if I might have been better off becoming a Machinist instead of a Mechanical Engineer! Actually I HAVE spent a lot of time in machine shops over the years. Was easier to just build the thing myself instead of having to explain to somebody else what I needed... ;)
@jacquespoirier90712 жыл бұрын
same for me, I made my carrer as mechanical engineer and most of the time, it was easier to do the work myself than to explain it the the machinist
