Thanks for the guide. Can the wave battle be completed with just level 50 Necromancy? Would wearing melee with masterwork armor and dual elder rune swords be just fine? 🤔

There were some parts towards the end of the waves that make me think it would be really rough without t80+ gear. I could be wrong, don't know what others have done. If going that route with melee, I suggest a 2h if possible for the AoE attacks. It will shorten the waves a lot compared to just fighting with the single target dual wield abilities. A halberd weapon would be ideal, the best you can get your hands on for the extra attack range. And a scrimshaw of vampyrism if possible will make keeping your health up much easier. Last thing I'd say is I have no idea what the defensive stats of the enemies are (if they're very resistant or weak to different combat styles). If melee isn't hitting well, a basic Magic setup could work because of the decent AoE abilities there too (and Animate Dead if you have it)

@@jasper_72 Thanks for info. I'll try with magic. I'm a returning player and just not all caught up with the new combat system and gear yet. I have a virtus set and attuned crystal wand/orb I'll try it with. I'm a scaredy-cat!

Are you going to make a hard mode or standard guide for post-quest?

I did a rough runthrough of standard mode, so was thinking to get hard mode down and do that. Probably still with the t90 Necro tank setup. Edit: I have to check again but it looks like Hard Mode isn't available yet? If not I will wait until I can do a vid on both modes.

4 out of 10 for a guide... how hard is it to say " click chat option # " and just give a bit info in to a guide.. then to End it be for the quest is even complete..just LAZY.... Do better if your going to be giving advice to the people.. don't just expect that everyone just knows what to do......

Dialogue choices mattered roughly 0% for this quest. The dialogue options that move it forward are obvious. Also, it should have been a hint when I said at the beginning that I'm not skipping any cutscenes or dialogue that this isn't a spacebar warrior guide. Know that in the future my videos aren't going to just read off the wiki's quick guide page, so you're better off with someone else's vids.
