Can you provide me some info about this kayak and how ancient it is and also if you have any more background info on it? About what size was this thing in its day? So interesting!

@@DeecentAnimal as we know it, it's extremely old, and a canoe. My guess from this footage, " and I'll be getting more next filming run, but my guess is at least 10' long. I can't be sure as the bow is not able to be seen any longer. What we do know is it's condition is poor due to age when compared to other wood items in these cold waters. As I am not a certified expert here, I can only go by the evidence we see on my footage. I do know that some years back when I first discovered it, the state sent divers down to examine it and it was dated quite old and was not able to recover it as it's just too fragile. Likely would just disintegrate if attempted so it's better to leave it in place and I can gather as much 4k video as possible to record it as is in the hopes of documenting for the future. In time it will no longer be able to be seen. So my work here is valuable in one form or another before it's lost. I'm so blessed to locate it again after over 2 years of looking again. The R.O.V. is a critical tool allowing me to accomplish this goal so that all can see it in place and protected as it should be. I also solved an old fable here about a lost row boat of clear lake in another video where I verify that the missing boat of long ago is in fact a true tale.
