Journey back in time to ancient China and explore one of the most extraordinary archaeological finds of the century - the massive 2,200-year-old Wuwangdun tomb unearthed in eastern China's Anhui Province. This remarkable burial complex, which may hold the remains of an ancient Chu state king who ruled during the tumultuous Warring States period, has astounded scholars worldwide with its unprecedented scale and treasure trove of artifacts.
Join us as we delve into the captivating history of the Seven Warring States and the powerful Chu kingdom that constructed this awe-inspiring tomb. Witness the meticulous four-year excavation process that unveiled over a thousand priceless relics, including exquisite musical instruments, intricately lacquered wooden items, ornate bronze vessels, and even a wooden coffin chamber with nearly a thousand written characters describing ancient funerary rituals.
Marvel at the sheer grandeur of the Wuwangdun complex, spanning a staggering 16 million square feet - roughly the size of 280 football fields or triple the size of Vatican City. Explore the three main sections: the external cemetery with its sacrificial pits and chariot burials, the central tomb shaped like an inverted pyramid, and the enigmatic nine-room coffin chamber.
As archaeologists continue their excavations, unraveling the mysteries of this 2,200-year-old wonder, you'll gain unprecedented insights into the political, economic, and cultural fabric of the ancient Chu state, and the ingenious craftsmanship of its people.
Don't miss this extraordinary journey through one of China's most significant archaeological treasures, a testament to the enduring legacy of human ingenuity and cultural expression.

It's no Sanxingdui, but in all ancient China, produced stunning bronzes, jades, and gold objects. Ivory and ARC welding techniques have been identified, dating as far back as 4500 BC. Around the same time, the Pyramids are said to have been constructed. I was hoping this would be the one with mercury detected... maybe next time.

Why is it a clickbate?

It says Tomb of China's Emperor finally discovered... That implies, the tomb of China's first Emperor was finally opened. It has not. Thus, the title that caught your attention and caused you to click to watch the video, was only bait...as the content of the video does not have anything to do with the First Emperor's tomb. We have been "clickbaited"

@@jasontegeler9658 China had many emperors. The video title never said the First Emperor. You need to get new reading glasses or take a reading comprehension class

This time predates the Egyptians ?

No, the Egyptians were a little before this. King Tutankhamun (a fairly late pharaoh) lived about 3,300 years ago. The pyramids are possibly 4,500 years old.
