You never need to put Ancient Fairy Life Dragon in attack mode. It turns itself and other AFD related cards into Superheavy Samurais, so you actually lose out on damage.

You’re not losing out on any damage when you realize that AFD and AFLD are the only ones that would be able to do any real damage, it’s better to have monsters with naturally high ATK/DEF stats than put a bunch of weak ones together to try boosting them

@evanhensley11 you are losing damage if AFLD is in attack mode not defense mode. You are right about other monsters, but in the replays shown the only applicable monster for the effect was itself, and he kept putting it in attack mode to attack. I was just stating the effect there, not trying to suggest that it would be better to have more AFD related monsters on the board.

I never thought I'd see Ancient Fairy Dragon support but it is honestly pretty cool. I wonder if we'll get more Power Tool/Life Stream Dragon/Morphtronic support as well to match with it.

@@DelusionalArondight Sure but we never really got any cards that actually linked the Morphtronic and Power Tool Dragon cards. I think it'd be cool to finally have cards that bridge that gap like these cards do for AFD.

It does suck that if the new AFD synchro gets negated you are just sitting there for a turn. Either future AFD Synchros need the SHS effect, or the deck needs layered protection like Melodious or Amazoness.

I know its not searchable or great but it is funny that you could probably use Gravity Collapse in this deck with the amount of searches to shut down the opponent. Wouldn't be great but it would be funny seeing it go off.

Did you try an Exodia package? Anything that can draw or search 10+ cards should be able to make some kind of degenerate Exodia deck.

how can you play matches with pre release cards in MDpro? do you need additional software? I couldn't play with others when I tried.
