Hi Loguer, Great video, as always! - I know now you main decking Thrust because you including Ultimate Slayer as a board-breaker of choice, but does it risking you playing into Droll? -1 CAGG is enough, i think. 1 more ex deck slot for generic rank 4 xyz maybe? (ex: Bagooska or Dweller?) in case you can't OTK your opp? - Play 42 with 1 extra Lightning Storm and Mecha Hound? or you can cut AG Frame to 1, so it become 41? - And I agreed, as a fellow Earth Machine Enthusiast, Qli Genius is AWESOME. How about Ancient Gear Box? I know it's a brick sometimes but it can search commander. Also I would add 1 Ancient Gear Golem because Dark Golem doesn't count as Ancient gear Golem while he's in the deck.

The only reason I didn’t use those cards in this video is because I’m trying to minimize the amount of bricks in the deck, but they are still good options (I used Box in the previous video, for example).

im trying to figure out whats the extra deck or in which situations you could use it, it would be cool if you show some use cases for those, i also put out the megaton golem lol, gearframe x2 it s better than tanker or komander at 2? i might change my list too, im close to masters, ancient gears are just insane with statue. - Any generic rank 4 xyz is good against meta (Bagooska, Dweller, etc.) if you can't straight OTK your opponent - Megaton isn't relevant anymore, you will always end your opponent using CAGG or UltimateAGG (since you now have AG Duel) - Tanker and Commander is needed to extend and to place Duel face-up on the field, so them at 1 each is okay. - And yes, Statue is an EXCELLENT support for Ancient Gear Hope this helps, dude, cheers!

To reduce "bad hands," the most advisable thing would be to play Frame, Commander, and Tanker at 1 copy each... However, sometimes I'm not entirely convinced by that ratio. It's something you should test out; I still haven't made up my mind :(

11:25 actually, IIRC, Ancient Gear Giant is immune to spell/traps, so Fortess can't protect it as any other ancient gear monster. Is that correct? I remember that once my Giant got wiped by a monster effect with Fortess active, and I obviously raged.

As far as I understand, Fortress does protect Chaos Giant... but now you've made me doubt! :s

@@Loguer002 this should be investigated more. I am sure that time my Giant was not protected by Fortress. I was furious! But to be honest it's a fair downside to such a powerful monster

Boardbreakers...The match against Yubel is quite difficult in general.

It takes a lot of ressources to break Yubel board. And the only out to Yubel cards are droplet or qliphort genius. AG dont have any in engine card who can out a 0 ATK 0 DEF Yubel

I saw that you had two ancient gear fusion but on you decklist-you have x1. Do you need 1 or 2 ancient gear fusions?

I've been testing it at 1 or 2 copies in several matches, just experimenting. For now, I've leaned more towards playing it at 1 copy.

The summon from the deck might be appealing but it's effectively a -1 in card advantage. It's good that it can also be used from the GY, but running too many might backfire on the long run
