catapult on geartown, summon golem from deck, use geartown to summon wyvern, search fusion, make omega gear golem (or whatever the new fusion monster is called) if it dies, summon ultimate gear golem, and if THAT dies you summon golem back from grave, giving you a pretty nice stream of big ass monsters that really only loses to utopia lightning, kaijus, and a handful of other relevant cards your opponent isn't always going to have access to because rng is always a factor. oh, and that play leaves you with your normal summon still, so you could summon some other stuff alongside it.

going first, i'd probably go for omega golem, but going second against a full field, chaos ancient gear giant is more than likely the better option. unless they have master peace out, then omega is probably the better option still since it can float into another monster, UNLESS you also opened fortress to protect chaos from targeting effects the turn he's summoned after baiting master peace's removal effect. there's plenty of variables that make each option more appealing or more practical for that situation, so having access to both is definitely a better option in the long run. versatility and all that fun stuff.

I'm only going to tech it in as a 1-off. Why? Because: a) This is _CLEARLY_ designed to make Megaton easier to summon, and I wouldn't run Megaton at any more than a 1-off either. b) The dependence on controlling a Golem to use monsters in the deck is _"a'ight",_ but it's not something I'm going to waste a Catapult on just to be able to pull it off. (Side note: I also wouldn't pay 50% of my LP just to get a Prisma from the deck and do it that way.) c) I already use an Edge Imp Chain engine in Ancient Gears (yes, I am insane enough to do that) to grab Polymerization from the deck faster, so I don't really _NEED_ to run this at any more than a single copy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this is bad support, it's a good card with good artwork and a good effect... but I just feel that it's not something Ancient Gears really need to use in order to be a better deck, thus making its existence somewhat pointless.

A bit of a tip. Not only can you use "Ancient Gear Catapult" or "Elemental HERO Prisma" if you're focusing on "Ancient Gear Golem". You can also use the effect of "Ancient Gear Howitzer", which, if destroyed by battle, can Special Summon any "Ancient Gear" monster from the Main Deck, ignoring the Summoning conditions. This includes "Ancient Gear Golem" or "Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound". Also, you can use "Ancient Gear Reborn" to revive "Howitzer", so this effect can be used numerous times.

Yup, I feel like "Howitzer" is the easiest way to get out "Ancient Gear Golem" especially if your opponent forces you to go first. Obviously, "Elemental HERO Prisma" is great too but it's so prone to getting its effect negated. If only "Ancient Gear Reborn" has a floating effect that says "If this card leaves the field because of your opponent's card effect, then.........". Also, it sucks so much that you can only activate its effect when you control no monster. I guess you can activate "Reborn" the moment ALL your ancient gear monsters are destroyed? I haven't tested out "Reborn" so I don't know if it works like that. Like you chain link 1 "Howitzer" to summon Golem, then chain link 2 "Reborn" to special summon "Ancient Gear" monster from GY in order to byass the "if you control no monster" text............... - Also, good news, there's a rumor that more "Ancient Gear" support cards are coming next January. I'm excited because Ancient Gear is such a fun and enjoyable deck to play!

There's an OP play with it (otks assuming there's no negation) AG catapult and geartown to get Golem and Wyvern. Search AG Fusions with Wyvern, normal summon an earth monster. Go into Missus Radiant, then fuse into Megaton with 2-3 Golems. Then use Overload Fusion to go into Chaos Giant. You destroy any wall of monsters they have with Chaos Giant, then atk with Missus and Megaton. It's a guaranteed otk

Been playing with this deck at YGOPRO (Pre-Link) I run 3 copies of trade-in and 3 AC Golems, 2 Prisma and 3 Hero Lives and 3 Emergency Calls. 1- Special Summon Elemental Hero Prima with A Hero Lives. 2- Activate Prisma´s Effect to Mill and Copy Ancient Gear Golem. 2- Normal summon Ancient Gear Wyvern, search Ancient Gear Fusion. 3- Fusion Summon Megaton Ancient Gear Golem using Ancient Gear Fusion, send to the grave your remaining copies of Ancient Gear Golem to enable 3 or 2 Attacks this Turn. 4- Activate Overload Fusion to Fusion Summon Ancient Gear Chaos Giant or Power Bond for another Megaton or Wyvern (These cause less damage to your Life Points specialy after A Hero Lives Cost.) 5- OTK Fest! Isn´t exactly a hard to counter deck BUT the OTK possibility is there like 80% of the times.

TheIrrelevant dude I play the deck with 2 golems right now and they dont brick so thats not the problem of the deck the problem is that you need more special summons because one normal summon and two cards（catapult and town） that relie on each others to trigger their effects to special something because you cant use twin twisters to destroy your town because its a quick spell so geartown effect gets “negated” and your catapult is useless if you searched it off wyvern because you can only use it if you control no monsters. Those are not enough！*F A C T*

You can use Ancient Gear Fusion to fusion summon Ancient Gear Megaton Golem using 3 Golems, so it can attack 3 times, and you can do that only having Geartown and Ancient Gear Catapult in your hand - Geartown -> Catapult / Golem - Wyvern -> Ancient Gear Fusion, and the you can fusion summon the Megaton Golem using 3 Golems (I'm sorry, I don't speak english very well)

i main ancient gears, so here is the play with this card. use AG catapult on geartown to summon one AG wyvern and one AG golem the AG wyvern searches AG box which searches AG frame and then you normal summon AG frame use its effect to search AG fusion and then use your AG wyvern and AG frame to make a qliphort genius and then use your AG fusion on AG golem to summon omega or chaos giant

The problem is it has to be destroyed by battle. Second of all, I don't think Ancient Gear Golem can be summoned through Fire Ant Ascator because Golm states specifically that it can't be special summoned (except cards that stated "ignoring its summoning condition"). I could be wrong but I don't think it works like that.

Not quite, ancient gear golem needs to be on the field (using normal summoning or the spell card ancient gear catapult) then you use ancient gear fusion, allowing you to search through your deck and pick the other 2 ancient gear golems which then lets you fusion summon ancient gear megaton. TL;DR Yes you can summon this beast turn fucking one, bless konami for actually releasing something decent for ancient gears for once. Requirements are 1 Ancient Gear Fusion, 1 Ancient Gear Golem, 1 Geartown and 1 Ancient Gear Catapult in your hand for the combo itself.

Red-eyes fusion is still a good card. That one restriction doesn't make shit.

KiSwordsman imagine all you could do with a Red-Eyes deck if it didn't have that restriction. Then compare that to what you can only do with the restriction. Like the card cause I love my Ref-Eyes but man seriously Ancient Gears fusion is better

Ancient Gear fusion isn't even necessary. Just put three ancient gear hound, has the same effect plus 500 effect damage to your opponents
