MA…it ain’t!! That’s just some two bit reporter trying to spice up an unidentified burial site!! An otherwise boring event down on the farm!!

I felt the same desire to be commenting a lot which could be easily dismissed as only being sarcastic. Or if too long of a comment only jiberish in a world where it is not what you know it is who you know.

I'm very intrigued by such things. History and it's relevance, archaeology, to look back at people in past, their way of life and to experience that is a privilege! Respect to them and people who give respect to such discoveries!

When you think of all the people who have lived and died before our time I'm sure we have all walked over people laying buried beneath us and not even realized it.

Oh no, many of you “realize” and straight up dump our relatives and ancestors somewhere else without telling anyone so you can get your little cottage built by the river. I hear of cases where our people have to fight these squatters in court but since there’s no respect for indigenous people, they often get thrown out. Your comfort and “your properties” are more important though.🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♂️

Sean Flores, as a Canadian, I can tell you that yes, Canada has a homeless problem. I would guess it's probably worse at the moment. Sorry you had to wait 2 years to get the answer to your question

The theory that female person was in transit from one place to another when meeting her demise sounds probable. Metis people from eastern Canada were often having to be forced migrants while travelling further west while trying to find land they could settle on. Further west they had to avoid conflict with some people from the Russian held territories in North Amerca who regarded them as a threat too. Why isn't there more people paying attention to the stories our elders tell us some of whom who were born up to 100 years ago? Like for example when remembering how they lost a parent? Perhaps there would be less mysteries to solve and less problems we have to cope with in our universal health care system if everyone was encouraged equally in their personhood.

1800s is recent. England's parliament house goes back 600 years. And that's not ancient. Tower of london 1000 yrs. Canada is new and lacks alot of history. Unless you are a native and they have a great history that is ancient.
@tesseract2365

There were European here before the last native migration from Siberia. We have bones that prove that. 1000 years is nothing. There are toilets in the world that go back 10,000 years. England is new compared to Iraq. Some of Canada's history involves the Battle of Britain and protecting supplies going across the Atlantic during a period of 'unrest' not too long ago. Also 'alot' is two words. A lot. You should brush up on the English language guvna.

@@tesseract2365 there is 0 proof of that the only provable pre-Columbian Europeans were the Norse explorers who lost the skraeling war and it's been proven that the first Americans came from Australia and that they were black white people only evolved around 5000 years ago

Couldn't the STEM people and Archeology people and journalists too work together better to make carbon dating of bones more accurate and the reporting of it too more accurate? So people's stuff being called ancient don't end up in museums sooner than later when after they have reached around 125 years of age?
