Interesting - I wonder if ancient ley lines run through the forest which could explain some of the energies and U.F.O possible interest in the area ?

As far as I know nobody has ever done this kind of research. It would be so wonderful if someone took this case seriously and finally try to scientifically explain what is this place! 😧

Latvian American here: VERY Interesting! I wonder if this forest is somehow related to how a fellow Latvian of ours, Edwards Leedskalnins Built Coral Castle here in America. Do look into it. If you haven't already heard. Edwards built a truly mystical place in the 1930s. He claimed he knew how the Egyptians moved stones. Many of the stones Edwards used to build his castle in Homestead, Florida are over 40 tons, and he moved them into place on his own.

Hi! Welcome to my channel! Glad to hear from you! Actually I know the story of Edwards Leedskalnin very well. I made a video about him on my channel around a month ago. You can watch it here if you are interested kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZyldJ2phcaDbtk I am not sure if this would be related to him, since there is an assumption the stone formations were built soon after the end of Ice Age, but it is just an assumption without any scientific proof, so might as well not be true... Pokaini Forest is in Dobele but Ed was born and lived in Stameriena Parish which is quite far from each other, so I don't think Ed would have had time to go to Dobele since he escaped to the US in quite an early age. However, he might have unlocked the secret of the stone energies ancient Latvians knew - I can certainly assume that.

Why is it that the oldest wisest most advance cultures come from the area of the person live. Latvia by a latvian, India by an Indian, Asian by Asian, Africa by an African

I don't know is your comment is relevant in this case, because I don't claim the wisest culture comes from Latvia - I am retelling what people are talking and looking into theories (as crazy as they are sometimes) surrounding this mysterious place. And I don't think there is something bad to think that your own culture is wise and has some valuable traditions - it just signifies how much you respect your ancestors.
