I've noticed that some Russians celebrate the god Poseidon in annual ceremonies on the beach. They call it Hentya (in Russian characters). I'm wondering about what the connection is (with Greece).

Interesting! I’ve never heard that before. Specifically the Greek Poseidon or a similar god? Just googled and all I found was talk about Putin’s underwater nuclear drone called Poseidon.🙈
