About ancient Lisu People, their way of life and family life.
Lisu tribal people are Tibeto-Burman highlanders, originated from Southwest of China
The entire population is estimated over 14 Million (it varies)
Lisus populations are highly concentrated in Yunnan and Sichuan, China; fairly distributed in Myanmar (Kachin and Shan States) and in Thailand (Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phayao, Lampang and Chiang Rai Districts), and a few in India (Arunachal Pradesh).
Most of of the Lisus are Christians, a few are Buddhists and the rest are Animists.
In many ways, adoption of Christianity has compromised cultural values, practices and traditions.
This short movie is aimed at bringing back to ancient time, “Who these Lisus were”, the reminiscences of their way of life, customs and tradition.
