I heard the ancient love poetry season 2 is about to begin but I have a feeling its going to be far worse than season 1 it will lack creativity 😔and new themes it will be about love yet they could have made it better but they only focusing about yaunqi n his love story is going to be nothing new

The last smile of bai jue got me... It felt so real and zhou dongyu is a really good actress... But for me xu kai nailed it with his expressions

Loving this drama. I have to remember to have a box of tissues as I cried and cried and cried so far from episode 38 ish until 41 ish. Not only for the main characters but the minor ones to i.e. Fengran and her love.....

I gave it 10/10 A++ since its the only drama I'm rewatching it. ALP is on my list with Love and Destiny, LAR, Peach Blossom.

I agree with you this indeed was a spectacular series. Its a series i watched over and over and i am still being amazed. Maybe those haters did it just for fun or have a different point of view but still they should respect people who have put their own blood and sweat. Love frok philippines. I wish to see another series from xu kai and zhou dongyu

Ancient Love Poetry is one of the better, if not “the” best Chinese Period Dramas (not that I’ve seen a lot!) I’ve ever watched and truly enjoyed! Both their Lead Actors (Xu Kai & Zhou Dongyu) did an exemplary interpretation of the characters they portrayed and was supported by an equally good Supporting Cast. Each one them were “on point” with their acting --- each one complimenting the other! Even their fight scenes were beautifully choreographed and gracefully executed. The OST of this TV series was so moving that it brought out the emotions that one would actually feel when put in a similar situation. With the words, melody, plus the singers’ voices, it brought out the longing, sadness, regret or more importantly, that 60,000-year-old hidden love that Bai Jue and Shangu had been wanting and waiting to finally express to each another in a span of 3 lifetimes! With its elegant costumes and beautiful scenery, I think Ancient love poetry was truly well done! “Bravo” to all who took part in the production of this wonderful TV series! I look forward to many more to come!

i enjoyed so much that i cant help myself to stop watching it again over and over again.its really amazing stories .i really loved it.i loved Bai Jue and Shanggu that makes me wanted more for them to work in the future again.I cried a lot in this drama.i feel inlove with them😍for me they are the best drama this 2021 though theres a lot of negativity from other people still for me they are the best 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯if only they watch it they will see how really amazing the ALP 😍highly recommended

Eternal love was a hard pill to swallow . It just doesn't compare to dramas like Miss The Dragon and Immortal Samsara, or Love you seven times.Thats my opinion, Eternal love just wasn't for me.

The drama try to copy cat the story of ten beach 😒 its cheap copy. At least they should bring a beautiful actress match to yang mi, dilraba and others.
