Perfectly safe. Just don’t suck on them or chew on them. Basically keep out of your mouth. They taste nasty anyway. Still, don’t put them into your mouth. I’ve been wearing Gunja mala and bracelets for 10 years

How long does it take the plant to bear its peas, please?

Unfortunately my Gunja plant didn't survive the winter that year. I was hoping to harvest the seeds next spring/summer. But I believe it takes more than 6 months for the plant to mature and produce seeds.

Hi it will take 4 months to get peas. And it will survive in rainy season.. and we will get peas in October or November

Yes, it is a natural poison. It is hard to ingest it accidentally in high amounts. But, it is better to avoid exposing to anything harmful.
