Aubrey, it may just have been my perception but when you were moved to tears it felt, to me, like possibly you were overcome with the idea of having to go “to battle” with “the empire”. Let me share a story, it possibly is true, a group of warriors were about to come against an invading troop but those warriors had made a commitment NOT to raise weapons of war. So, when the enemy advanced, they laid down their weapons and some of them were killed but the enemy got SICK OF KILLING and laid down their weapons also. Can LOVE heal? We’ll see. Every time I hear and contemplate this concept of "all is mind and the universe is mental" the deep intuitive part of my being disagrees. Did this perception arise in the age of separation, of the denial of the divine feminine principle? To say that all is mind is akin to saying all is electric, ignoring and denying the magnetic, like saying all is light and denying the darkness. Maybe as we move closer to a more integrated awareness we will transcend this perception and say "all is Heart Mind, and the universe is mental Emotional. Just a thought feeling that's been nagging me for quite some time and I finally understood why as I listened to this lovely conversation. Much love and gratitude 💗🙏

Attention is at the center of the Self Structure. 44:02 reich and body armor , somatic filter and narrative filter (affective) all based on where the cursor / attentional system points the witness is the deepest ego structure

This literally just changed everything for me! Midway through this interview realising I have been subconsciously training for this army most of my life.. On what Aubrey said about comfort… Either seeking comfort fully or choosing to escape it completely. I call it ‘The Gravity of Feeling’ and it suggest Aubrey’s gravitational centre of ‘comfort’ and it’s opposite were generated close to each other, as two planets might be, and the most intense chaotic energy can be found in between them. Water jet cutting is a thing. I cut half inch steel with light today. Thr beam was guided by intricate patterns etched on a crystal. bent it with oil,(guided by a similar etched crystal) and then moved it across the shop with magnets so it could be finished with compressed air and fine stones. I have recently expanded my beliefs and i accept the concept that there is no right or wrong. Good or evil, and Dr. Churchill and Aubrey expanded on this fact in the most profound way. The concept of duality and polarity is one of the biggest set back for our peoples throughout a long period of history and still today. Instead of flat out refusing and dismissing darker actions, i see them as strong sometimes aggressive way of doing things or handling life.. In some cases necessary. But taking the strong qualities of both the dark and all of the amazing qualities of the light and fusing them together is the next best upgrade to our people. John mentioned Newton researching spiritual alchemy. I think that's correct. Many people have mentioned that Newton was involved in alchemy but the usual interpretation of that is a material process of turning base metal into gold. When looking at ancient alchemy texts and drawings it seems clear to me that the material side was probably mostly a front to avoid persecution by the church. The real stuff is the spiritual and esoteric transformation side.

Dukkha = Suffering. Not getting what we want is suffering. Getting what we want but that not lasting forever and wanting pleasure to last forever and craving for that is suffering. Not wanting to experience discomfort and pain is suffering. Rejection of sickness, old age and death - all natural phenomenon of life is suffering. Doing everything to not age, not get sick and die takes so much of time and resources is what capitalism makes money from. When deathless state is possible, insight into indestructible truth, and bliss is possible, we are all addicted to base pleasures and trinkets of temporary dopamine fix. Renunciation of base pleasure seeking, willingness to experience the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms of from this addiction is the gateway to greater joy, love, compassion and equanimity. Many in the west believe freedom is ability to indulge in hedonism, when freedom comes from fearlessness to be not bounded by any pleasure or pain or apathy. It's going to take sometime to really understand this, it will need vigilant introspection of the habitual patterns of this mind, the tendency to cling onto something that is eternally impermanent as permanent, misconception of apprehending compounded phenomenon and so called self as a flattened label, designation and names. If you see the parts that makes the whole and if that's constantly changing, how can we appropriate and own anything? We could just enjoy the magic of elements without giving into the urge to fixate, freeze and make our preferences last. Because they're consequences for swinging into one extreme, the other extreme goes into shadow and the perversion of that repressed energy is labeled at the Other, the evil, the bad. If we want to come into union, we have to embrace the other within us, the polarity within ourselves and that practice strengthens our system to hold differences and appreciate the rainbow color that the other brings. Buddhist psychology and philosophy takes us through systematic dismantling of this ignorance from which every other reactivity arises. I'm glad someone is bringing this to mainstream muscle community. 😜😜😜😂
