Darn it Stephanie, I want to beat myself up after watching this. I have tried to do this stitch so many times and failed horribly. But with the bead reamer, for some reason it finally clicked. Thank you for the slow and larger bead process and to the individual who advised you of this. This set is just beautiful and now I believe I can make one. Bless your heart! Tfs

Hello Stephanie, 🌹❤️🌹 You are a true ambassador for the art of bead-weaving! You're a brilliant teacher - I've learned so much with you over the years! And your designs are always 'timelessly elegant', while your colour choices are always so well-considered with stylish class. Your passion for bead-weaving is palpable, and infectious - it drives me to try things that I wouldn't otherwise have ever thought myself capable of doing. You've given me the confidence try my own designs, and most have worked out beautifully. So I just want to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH! And I'm looking forward to another year of bead-weaving with you! I've got dozens of tear-drop cabochons in various sizes that I need to get stuck into - and I love this design for them! ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️Kindest regards. Janell W.

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry And thank you so very much, Stephanie - we are off to a brilliant start to 2022 with yet another gorgeous Teardrop Cabochon design!! (I'm working on the one you uploaded on 30th January 2022) with Pearls at the top and bottom and a quatrefoil at the rounded end to make a heard-shaped bezel ... I do so love it! I have so many gemstone teardrops that I purchased before I had learned to bezel them, so there's many for me to choose from in every size and colour possible! I am hoping that you might consider publishing a book with all of your various Cabochon designs? I would pre-order it, and I'm sure your devoted students who watch your vids would too!! I learned everything from books, and I love your videos LOVE to have them all in a book for a permanent record of each design. I do hope you will consider this idea, because I think it would be very well received, and make you a lot of money - as it should. Kindest and most sincere regards, Janell. XX

you have some really beautiful designs. I was just stuck watching your victorian necklace tutorial, and I've done some beautiful bezeled stones, and design jewelry myself, though I'm not yet as established as you. I am inspired to go outside the earring bubble I've been stuck in when it comes to these beautiful bezeled pieces. The only reason I haven't is because I sometimes can't find bead combinations that go together. But you must know how that is, after a while, you acquire more and more beads, and eventually, though not right away, that vision comes to life. You inspire me with your ideas and creativity. I love what you do with simple beads.

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry FYI, I finally did learn the craw stitch from you, and you are right, once you get it it’s so easy. (Inserting the vision of knocking your head while say “I should have had a V8”, LOL) We travel quite a bit by car, I love to do craw in the car. My husband made me a starter craw handle out of wood that I glued on the first four beads. It works for me.

Diana would have loved it! She didn't have a lot of jewellery (in comparison to some Royals) and she was well-known to love shopping for costume earrings - one of her favourites were a pair of £5 French glass earrings - and she often wore glass pearls. But one piece of hers that I just adored (and was genuine) was the choker she often wore - a massive oval-cut blue sapphire surrounded by a double row of large white Diamonds, suspended on 7x choker-length strands of Pearls... Magnificent! The Sapphire with the double halo of Diamonds was originally gifted to her as a brooch by the Queen Mother on her marriage to Prince Charles - but she only wore the brooch once before having it made into the choker - and I've always loved it! So I used Stephanie's 'Isabella' design to bezel a huge faceted Amethyst cabochon of very high quality cabochon with Gold Seed Beads (permanent galvanised) with alternating Crystals and tiny Freshwater Rice Pearls, and I made a 7-strand choker with matching Freshwater Rice Pearls - and it's stunning! I made matching earrings and bracelet, and I wear them as often as possible. I think Diana would have loved them!

As I'm from the UK though I do have problems getting hold of some of the jewels. I'm having trouble getting the 12mm square cuts so can I use 10mm square rivoli instead xxx
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle 😊 Thank you for your lovely comment. Potomac Beads has an eu website and Spoilt Rotten Beads may have 12mm cushion cut stones as well. A 10mm would require a re design as size of the stone dictates the math used to make an even bezel. I will try a 10mm in the future but for now try to find the12mm cushion cut or you can play with the bead amounts and see what you come up with😃
