These stone structures are widespread in southern Africa not just G.Z. Some of the pictures here are those of The 17th century Khami ruins further west. There are the ziwa ruins, Manyikeni, Thulamela, Domboshaba,...There are millions and millions of ancient terraces as well like the famous Nyanga in Zimbabwe. The oldest mines in the world in Swaziland are interesting too. The terraces are definitely an Adam's Calendar tradition. I wouldn't be surprised if this culture is related to Engaruka terraces in Tanzania and Thimlich Ohinga in Kenya, maybe the Konso villages and farms and Amharic villages in Ethiopia as well. Africa has many amazing stone structures: Loropeni, Dhar Tichitt, Kerma, Dukki Gel, The deffufas, Lalibela, Aksum, D'mt, The Gondar castles, Nabta Playa, Mbanza Kongo, Sukur, Ikom monoliths, Bouar Megaliths, The Sudano-sahelian architecture, Timbuktu libraries, The Wassu stone circles, Gedi ruins, Kilua Kisiwani and many more. Amazing art like the Benin bronzes, Nok terracottas, Ashanti goldweights and gold. Native writing scripts like Meroetic, Ge'ez, Nsibidi, Proto-saharan, Gicandi, The Ekpe symbols, the adrinka, Sona geometry, Dogon sand script, Dogon cosmogony, The chokwe cosmogony, and many beauties. Thanks a lot for this beautiful video.

There's a wealth of information in this post. I'm in the US, unless you know where to start, this kind of information is not easy to find. Your post is a great starting place. Of the places you mentioned, I only know about a handful. Thanks for posting.. I'm going to save your post for research.

Whatever Titan, or Titans fell here are forever obscured with subsequent construction. Using the Titan itself for the materials. Sure looks to be covering something up! Standard procedure... Great video again! Thanks!

It looks like many other sites in that is has giant incredibly old building stones ( evidence of right angles and joins) then much smaller stones built all over those ruins. Interesting clip of the row of blue-robed figures filing into a giant entrance...the Tuereg or Blue Men of northern Africa are said to be genetically distinct, plus blue skinned Gods depicted in several countries, notably Krishna in India....

Thanks Vlad for your passion, another Great Interesting Video from you! at 15:30 it shows a nice view of the hill including its gigantic stones on the top of it.. Some of the stones are included in the Great Zimbabwe structure. I hope there are more pictures showing the gigantic stones which seem to be much more interesting......

Remarkable structures--I learned some cool stuff about Zimbabwe from this. Also, I learned a little botany as well--those tall skinny trees with the red flowers on top are Aloe Excelsa; they were so beautiful I had to look them up. Wonderful video, Vlad, thank you!

Yes What I meant was the ancients! They appear to have an understanding of creation and were “up to stuff” maybe able to utilise the elements with common knowledge talked of globally in language understood by once common knowledge but now sadly

These stones have a great deal of silica in them which possibility were part of a system that is powered by sound and the patina suggests that this site is much older than is stated.

Wow that is some sophisticated stonework showing great design and engineering knowledge with even the time and resource for some fancy decoration. 18000 people ? Where was the water supply ? Did a river dry up through climate change ? Also hints of megalithic site usage before a later construction of the main ruins ? Great video as always Vlad.

MikeKye200 I think it looks more like local Bantu people came up with their own unique style such as the herringbone around the top of the walls, and the way they incorporate the steps into the walls. Where in Europe is this type of architecture in ancient times? It's even more elaborate at the Khami ruins site not far from Great Zimbabwe.

Nice! I read there are millions of these round stone structures in s africa. Thank you..and i keep finding videos i havnt seen from you yet. Great way to spend saturday night!!. What do YOU think of all these stone circles?

Great video vlad9vt. Have been a fan for a while and watched majority of your videos. The walls are very thick but the structures do not appear to be defensive positions. You think they were temples? Also look as if built on older structure. Your have one of the few channels to get a history lesson from. Again, great job!
