Ancient Warriors: 9-0 Winstreak! Ritual Event Deck List + Highlights! (Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel)

This video contains a new Ancient Warriors deck list that I used to quickly obtain the Ritual Event awards! The deck is fairly simple to play and follows the standard Ancient Warriors combos - just without the extra deck! All duels were recorded in the November 2023 Ritual Event in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Damn, konami back at it again failing to keep out the decks that wreck house without extra decks. But love ancient warriors regardless. I played megalith during the event and the plays the one you fought were making were decent but plenty of misplays. For one, he never thought to get out the only protection the deck has which is protection against targetting. And megalith is a great ritual deck because you can summon ANY ritual monster, such as supreme queen ruin who protects all monsters from destruction effects and would only be outed by cao de because she's 2900 atk (if not buffed by orphiel)

Wait... If this is a ritual event, shouldn't you be using a deck focused on Ritual summoning?

The event allows Ancient Warriors to be played almost identical to their standard lineup. It's very fast for obtaining the event rewards!

I didn't really like when Konami nerfed the pot of extravagance, this card was interesting in Ancient Warriors

Definitely! The event has a restricted card pool but they're still very strong

It's a pot of greed for every deck that doesn't use the Extra Deck, shit is unfair and busted

​@@lenvoor1633Yeah drawing 2 cards is busted, unlike the card that makes you draw 1 every time the opponent special summons. Totally fair that you either give them at least another 5 cards to set up your board else skip your turn entirely. (To which I would rather have Pot of Greed unbanned to 1 than have any number of Maxx C's be allowed)

@@lunarshadow5584 okay you are saying that Maxx c is busted which I totally agree, my point still stands that Pot of Extravagance makes you draw 2 with no step backs is BS, might as well limit pot of greed for everyone to play

@@lenvoor1633 The step back is the chance of throwing away all 3 of the card you would use. But that doesn't matter as much for decks that are able to search and special summon like most of the archetypes we have today. Special summon became what defines yugioh more than anything else and is the reason "Draw 2" cards become a necessity for some of the decks that need to have 3-4 cards in hand to start the combo compared to all the 1 card combos we currently have
