Psychologist, Tibetan Buddhist and author, Dr. Miles Neale enters the mind meld!
In this one, we muse about lost ancient knowledge, whether or not we're heading toward mass awakening or delusion, and Miles' painful decision to put his spiritual life first (which involved moving his family to the other side of the world).
We also riff on the importance of Carl Jung, Tibetan Buddhism, trusting psyche, and much more.

@@thezzach it's difficult when you can't help but always feel like a 'way shower.' I don't know how I'd manage without my online hero's who are also taking arrows as the forge the collective forward. I steered right clear of (even feared!) philosophy classes while in university because I was convinced I wasn't nearly "smart enough" to get it. That was 10 years ago. The more I listen to the relentlessly riveting conversations you so generously share, the fewer fucks I have to give about any perceived deficiency on my part and the easier it becomes to give my beloved curiosity the space to wonder and wander as it sees fit. So hey, thanks.

Love to hear that and thank you. I get what you’re saying. I love philosophy and careful thought of a certain kind. I’ve been diving pretty deep into the platonic lineage as of late. At a certain point though, I think philosophy becomes overly analytical and soulless, that ain’t my thing.

@pickletown I can totally relate. Not sure who said it first but Jaimungal from TOE has said, “the point is not to be able to drink from the fire hydrant, the point is to stand close and get wet”. So grateful to channels like these that faithfully share rich conversations and what use to feel completely inaccessible to me (and in turn, irrelevant), is now an inexhaustible font of insight for me. Thanks for all you do Michael @Thirdeyedrops❤️🙏🏽

I can't tell you how helpful this talk was. I am a nomad and have been taking myself on an eerily similar trajectory of self-retreat around the world, but especially intensely the past ~6 months. At times it felt crazy or weird that I was doing this period of semi-isolation, still kind of working and interacting with the world in fits and starts, but hearing that not only am I not alone in this, but that it's a Jungian practice, was really encouraging. So many synchronicities in this and other recent wonder dips, it's just nice confirmation that you CAN always trust that inner voice... thank you for them.

I just need to say that I love this podcast so much because you are so open to anything question everything and are genuinely passionate about trying to become a little closer to understanding the bigger picture. It’s so refreshing to hear someone who has the same thinking process and interests as me (even though you have a larger vocabulary than I do, I’m still pretty new to some of the terms that are used in ways to describe in philosophies/archétypes/theories and so on ) but I’ve learned so much just from listening to your conversations with these amazing thought provoking people and from the deep dives that you do. So I just thought I would share my appreciation and love for your podcast!!

I don't have the words to fully express how much what was brought up in this conversation has moved me, so many parts of Dr. Neale's story resonated deeply with me, "mind blown" would be way too weak an expression to capture how I am left after hearing this. I'm unable to find the words to elaborate at the moment but I wanted to thank the both of you from the bottom of my heart, I will be re-listening to this particular exchange quite a few times for sure and I'm excited to dive into the rest of Dr. Neale's work, both with you and his other stuff. He brought up some things in this that feel like some crucial puzzle parts that were missing in putting together some major stuff in my life and vision. The work that the both of you are doing is so important, you have my deep appreciation 🙏

Delighted to land and find myself, and more, greeting your channel, following a trip to London,, to 'confirm" and gather evidence, of the re-birth of consciousness, which your conversation, seeks to define, and find language for, as we, experience, what I, as a simple artist, term, " The time of 4 degrees of separation," Yes, we're in a tumble and whoosh of fire-lighting change, for the collective and personal, consciousness, and it's time for us to" "play", to ride the waves of this magnificent space. which Nietzsche, got lost in! Keep going but don't forget to smell the roses, on your way !

I think Nietzsche and honestly the tragedy of him from being ignored or misunderstood, isolated and sickly and his eventual madness affirm in a way what he seemed to believed: he was a man out of time, or ahead of his time. If he'd had something like the internet during our cultural influx of questioning, reevaluating, quests for individuality, he could've absolutely flourished. It's unfortunate but pretty amazing that he seemed aware that the world really wasn't ready for him yet. He was grappling with ideas he struggled to fully grasp even from his own perspective. Imagine if he'd had more direct contact with Buddhism, other eastern spiritual traditions.

Holy shit. I gotta say…I remain skeptical (but curious/open) RE: Astrology, but I got chills when he talked about January 2020 marking a significant turning point. I hadn’t heard that before, but I’ve long identified January 2020 as when I suddenly started to go through a big change in focus, outlook, and daily habits. The biggest thing I noticed was an increase in attention span. I started reading every day, and much more challenging material (philosophy and religion, which I’ve always had a vague interest in, but never took a deep dive until then.

If you need material to test the bouncer (intellect) at the door of your heart, check out Bernado Kastrup's free course on Analytic Idealism. He opened me up to how the fundamental substrate of reality could be of consciousness, which helped me make sense of a lot of paranormal phenomena. If this is true, then the insight I got today was that astrology could make sense because everything is interconnected and are representations of the (consciousness-mental-stuff) Whole.

I had a mystical experience in '94 that most definitely landed with a thud. I'm 58, and I think I may be on the other side of the disorienting temporal horizon shift...I just started up dream interpretation again, ignorant of the idea of archetypes expressing themselves there. So far, my dreams seem to be speaking to me personally...food for thought...This morning, I was offered instruction from a female with long wavy, non-fashion minded hair. I tried arguing with her, but she just smiled warmly, and caused me to reconsider my conclusions. Was she an archetype?

You could call Tantra as 'contact epistemology'. It is less philosophy and more an embodied practice to come into contact with deities and higher realms.

I've been enjoying your channel. I've been looking for answers to some questions. What are each of the twelve archetypes? How are they represented in each mythology, philosophy and religion? Are we sure there are only twelve and that there can only ever be twelve? If you were to say, master the twelve and balance them and embody all of them does that become a 13th? What do you know, academicly, about opening chakras, manifestation, astroprojection, self healing, dowsing, and what do you believe about these things non academicly, like regardless of proofs and statistics? Do you know anything about how resonance and vibrations work? What's the deal with the gateway tapes? What would be the consequences giving godlike powers to a underdeveloped psyci that perfers to stuff its shadow in a box and not deal with it? thoughts on uap/nhi or how there connected to this? How does Jewish kabalaha compair to buddist enlightenment? Are there other religions, philosophys, mythologys that have seven stages of growth? These are things I'm personally interested in learning more about. I enjoy your channel. I think your doing a great job covering what I believe is going to be a greatly growing field of interest. You should check out lex Friedman #392 with Joscha bach if you haven't already, its all consciousness, ai, natural global resonant energy fields basicly how telekinesis might work, super cool stuff. Keep up the good work. Can wait to see more from your channel.

What do you think about the Process of Complexification being a fundamental meta-process? Defined as the increasing and simultaneous differentiation and integration of parts working as a functional whole? This came to mind because the Age of Aquarius, diversity and unity (as I understand it), was mentioned and it made me think isn't this process of complexification, unity of diversity, always in process? Isn't this the meta-direction of all things? Inspired by Brett Andersen's "Intimations of a New Worldview".

Here's a bit of wisdom from the ancient druids of Russia, previously known as Rus'. Egyptian pyramids. I do not know what your scientists and other people say about the Egyptian Pyramids, but what we have in the Memory Stone I can tell, and you, Alexander, can write it down. So, these pyramids are more than eight thousand years old - more, not less; they were intended to find out what the health of the Earth is and what the health of the Universe is, and this is the main purpose of the pyramids; there are still other purposes for these very pyramids, namely: to determine the time and speed of the Earth's movement relative to or relying on the Big Dipper, it is important to know in order to control the energy of the planet and the energy of the first kin planet of the Earth, namely, this is the Aromont, it is closest to the Earth and participates in all acts as an assistant and participant in the life of the planet Earth. Egyptian pyramids, who built them - they were built by the Vedrus or the Veds; there are six pyramids in total - these are the six that are being hunted and digging continues; I do not know how many of them are left now, but these six are the main ones in a large chain of pyramids. Why exactly six - because this world was once not a three-dimensional world, but namely, a six-dimensional one, and why - because the Earth too was standing, and even now it is, but there is much that is sick and dead, and the sixth one it was in position to the Sun, and now it is as if it is the third, but let it be so. the Sun is not a ten-dimensional planet, and the Earth a three-dimensional, it is not so. What does a six-dimensional planet mean - this is when there are six dimensions, or six reference points, for example, the Earth has such: length, height, depth, width, neutrality or zero point, and, of course, time. There is no way to do without time. Well, what does a one-dimensional planet mean - this is when there is no time, but it can't be, time is everywhere, remember this, time is everywhere. And here is a one-dimensional planet - that is, there are no angles, no circles, no horizontals and verticals; and what is there - there is time, and it lives and is in the manifested world the basis for the fact that it is a planet, and it is alive. What is a two-dimensional planet or a two-dimensional world - this is when there is a vertical and there is a horizon, and that's it, but there is always time, and then there are corners, circles, and closed rooms in this world, that is, you can build a house where there are walls, floor and roof (with today's knowledge, it is difficult for people to perceive such). What is a three-dimensional world or a planet with a three-dimensional filling of a visible substance - you can build a house round, square, with three corners, etc., any height: low, tall. But why is it possible to build there - because there is time here. These six pyramids of Egypt symbolized, and observed and designated the sixfold of the Earthly filling. “And time, and what is time,” the builders of the pyramids said, and in these pyramids they asserted the essence and the principle of life of such a concept and life itself - Time. Time flowed from one pyramid to another, and so it flowed along the perimeter of north latitude and south longitude, or rather, from Alpha to Beta, from Mega to Omega, from Ur to Ar. And also for what these pyramids are intended - and for obtaining knowledge and knowledge, and if there is a question, then there is an answer, that's why these pyramids are relevant today. And Tutankhomon - he, of course, lived and led Egypt; and there was Egipt, who, having learned knowledge, managed to create such a state; but Egipt did not want the caste of pharaohs to rule, but wanted the people themselves to rule, as in great Rus' (the Veche rule), but it did not work out, he remained with nothing; and then he put morality in the first place, because the immoral inhabitants of Egypt always wanted to rule the country and all the inhabitants themselves, and the goal is the same: personal enrichment. The priests clasped on to this idea: that an unscrupulous person (immoral) cannot create harmony, he is stupid and helpless, and they took away conscience from you, from the Russians, with the help of general degradation, namely, princes, kings, etc., but this is the main thing, and managed to put money at the forefront, You understand, Alexander, that conscience is the measure that the priests were talking about.” A. Savrasov “Alien Mio from the planet OSO” from the series of books ‘Knowledge of Pristine Origins'

The Sphinx You want to know about the sphinx - you turned to me with such a question, well, I will tell you everything that is in the Memory Stone on our planet, and do not be surprised if you hear something different from what you heard in your versions familiar to you. So, the sphinx, why is he there and who is he - I want to say right away that this is not an animal, not a bird or an aquatic animal, this is an alien inhabitant; you have noticed that his face or muzzle (animals have muzzles, people have a face, but we will say a muzzle, because we are on the Earth) is not like any animal or human living on Earth. The Sphinx is from the planet Yavor, this planet is located in the constellation of Berezdei, in your language - Akinza or Dogs. This is the main representative of that planet (Yavor), lives for a thousand years, if you count in Earth years, gives birth at the end of his life to his own kind, collecting vital energy during his years. On his planet, he is the largest and the smartest, and as a sign of their strength, and intelligence, and subjugation of people, they installed a sculpture of their leader in the center of the mind of the Earth, which means the inhabitants of the Earth, because the pyramids are really a unique invention of mankind; but you know, it was no longer an invention, but a repetition of what was invented - there are hundreds of pyramids on Earth, which are much older than the Egyptian ones. How do the pyramids of Egypt have an energetic connection with Arkaim, the observatory of ancient Rus’ - here’s how, it is the most ideal, the most related and close in its parameters and capabilities. So what is Arkaim - of course, Alexander has already told a lot about it, but there is more information, and this is how: when metal, brass and copper, are combined in the coals of the earth (firewood or coal, metal melting), then unity will occur between the planets, and it will immediately become warmer on Earth, and there are no floods and there are no earthquakes, and the wind blows steadily and easily, no one suffers; and if copper is authorized and connected to a liteda (the metal is unknown to you), then the mountains will suddenly bring down their whole temper on you, on people, and earthquakes will begin to break both the Earth and everything on it (the villages of people), and those people, the Druids, knew the power of metals and the power of stars, constellations of different kind, and how to accept the energy of a star through metal and an alloy of different metals, and a lot has also been studied, and the energy that still lives in that place helped them in their journey. “But how, how," you ask, "could those people participate in the deeds of the planets?”- the deeds of the Druids are great, and their knowledge is not in writing or reading, but as energy they could present themselves to the cosmos, and in their small observatory they could create the entire plan of cosmic energies with the help of fire and alloy, the metal was liquid, as in the beginning of existence, and the cosmic energy with the name of Pyad’ (constellation Goose) has already been transferred to their small melting, the metal of the Pyad’ is bronze, and now there is such a constellation on Earth, combine it with an invisible but strong ray with the constellation Cancer (in your language - Op’), and now the energy sounds, sounds like a song, and it is able to balance all the scales, and there is such a constellation, it is called: Libra, and Libra has metal - Ispol. The Earth stands on all its scales, there are not four and not three, not five, not ten and not nine - the scales are in one digit, the energy is one with the name Man - the son and daughter of God - of Onum. Well, I have good news. Humans have been using them for at least a few thousand of years across the globe. It’s phenomenon that’s far bigger and more important than a cultural movement.

Please tell me youve explored the YT acct "Curious Being" and watched her videos explaining her theories on those extraordinary ancient monolithic and megalithic sites..🙏🫶 Ive been thinking about this topic so much lately, I really do think our ancient past is buried and we just havent unearthed it yet 🪨🌋🌊

If I may Miles, I noticed from the outset of this conversation that you had softened… were less questing… it suits you, and I can listen to you now and feel relaxed (who cares, right?), by which I mean that the transformation you speak of has taken residence in your Being. Thanks to both for this conversation 🙏
