I love how you touched on Jung’s perspective of psychological versus visionary art. I write visionary fiction, which is something I never even knew existed until I couldn’t find a genre that fit my first book. That’s where I came upon a group of visionary fiction writers and found my home.

amazing to be here. and feels very synchronous.... iv been working on a VR game for the past 6 months... my goal is to represent a person delving into the shadow/subconcious. But in a way that is a bit more like, a isekai type experience. Individuate through leveling up and building out you class/ subclass. etc... 1000s of ideas bouncing around in my brain. but i am still learning the engine im using at the same time. so the process is slow and messy at the moment. as well as producing my own music for the game. 3d modeling, learning how to program.. etc etc. balancing that with my external duties... im rambling at this point. but this is a real treat. thank you guys. Would be amazing to be a part of a community that understands both games and "Jungian" concepts/artistic expression stuff.

That sounds amazing! I was introduced to Jungian psychology (as well as a lot of other philosophy) by playing Xenogears back in 1998. Video games and entertainment are such a powerful vehicle for carrying these messages and transforming how people think of themselves and others. Would be interested to know which games you may have played. Also, there is a KZbinr "Max Derrat" whose channel focuses on the psychological aspects of a wide variety of games. I love content that is both entertaining and challenging to the mind.

Sonic 2! i definitely agree with you, games/video games are a important medium that is just now truly being recognized as the art that they are.

I get just a little jealous reading things like this because I think "dammit that's so good why didn't I think of that" lol. Seriously though that's a dope concept and the fact that you've got the technical ability to make it real is awesome. I love writing and for the longest time told myself I just wasn't built for other creative endeavors. Then I remembered how great I was at sketching/drawing as a kid to the point my dad wanted to enroll me in an art school (didn't happen though.) I started sketching passively and it kinda came back. Like "oh yeah I can actually do this too a little bit." So now I've got this constant flow of ideas and aesthetic images in my head that I really wanna start bringing into reality. So hopefully I'll start expanding some technical ability. Keep working on this concept though dude seriously. Maybe find some like minded friends you can trust to delegate some of the development to and bounce ideas around.

It really happens to many of us. definitely the dream, to have a community. but so far, no real luck. lol. A lot of life stuff has happened since then and I fell off. This conversation, particularly the part about synchronicity, reminded me of the inspiration I had about crop circles. Maybe it's been thought of before; I'd like to know if anyone has heard this. Crop circles that are not hoaxes are not related to extraterrestrial activity at all but rather I wonder if they are a drawing down of geometry from like-minded people in sync. A sort of answer to a heart-felt question in form.

Wonderful, I really love the way he puts spiritual ideas into reality, such as therapy as the method to reach individualisation. That was exactly my thought when I started therapy. There are more steps such as mind/body connection, meditation, practicing goal setting but definitely a good start.

Instead, we are moving in the motion of a figure 8 pattern. The Figure 8 is a naturally repeating pattern that is divided into two halves and is thus the perfect symbol to represent the human life cycle and our two primary states of existence that we are continuously moving in and out of ~the Awake state and the Dream state. When we awake from sleep we come full circle to when we fall back asleep (represented by the bottom half of the figure 8 )and when we go into the dream state we come full circle to when we awake from the dream state (represented by the top half of the figure 8 )…Upon death the figure 8 of life untwines, but it’s not the body untwining from the mind that this analogy represents, It's two states of mind untwining to form a larger state of mind (8-0). ..Because the awake state is really a state “of mind” with our body's physical reality "consciously" intertwined, and the dream-state is also a state “of mind” with our body's physical reality "subconsciously" intertwined. Therefore; upon death, these two states of mind untwine to form a “larger” state of mind. A state that has all the potentialities of the dreamworld (flying, telepathy, telekinesis, etc) combined with all the actualities of the awake world(nature, form, familial bonds, etc)…This I refer to as the transitional analogy. …….While conceiving this Analogy, I realized life and death must be perceived ~from one point of view~ as seperate entities(the transitional analogy(8-0), but must also be perceived ~from another point of view~ as inseparable entities(the symbolic analogy👇), both of which are ultimately linked by the dream~state. ………The “Symbolic Analogy” consists of the untwined figure 8 of life/the ‘circle of death’ ( O ) abstractly overlapping the ‘circle of life/Earth (🌎) with the overlapping area representing the dream-state ~like the common area in a Venn Diagram, and implies that the dream-state is just as much a part of life as is of death (by which semi~explains precognitive dreams, prodromal dreams, "visitations" by deceased relatives, etc, for the dream-state has a foothold in the afterlife) and is based on the premise that “while our body sleeps our dream state symbolically represents the state that awaits upon our body's ultimate rest… …..In other words, while we are lying down and sleeping/dreaming, this natural process symbolizes where we go when we're ultimately lying down/dead ~to a place like our dreamstate...A state "of mind” with our body's physical form+Earthly bonds eternally engrained and intertwined. ~8~

Hello, & thank you both for the dialogue! I’d like to share a few views on synchronicities, that formed gradually. Maybe what is relevant for us is not finding out what synchronicities are/ how do they happen. (That is like trying to understand how a lock works, instead of stepping into the universe behind the door that has just opened.) Maybe there is one common message, such as, “Hey, this is magical. Yes, your life, and life in general! Now, what are you going to do about it?” Especially given the global context - as your guest, Kevin, even pointed out. (This is a context that needs us to look at ourselves as a crucial generation in crucial times.) Meanwhile, a pair of synchronicities stands out like a pair of aroused nipples. Yet, let’s not get fixated on those nipples, when the entire body is a wonder, including those two nipples when they are not in an erectile state -> because we’re looking at 37 trillion cells with a consciousness, that started from two cells! Thus, the take-home message could be - yes, let’s treat each other like the miracles that we are, let’s thrive for the same higher goals, let’s try to reach our potential & so forth. Being alive is a synchronicity & a wonder, being contemporary is the same, and generally all life on Earth* is also a synchronicity & a wonder. It exists only bc certain numbers & values met, allowing it to happen - I called this ‘Mathematics from Heaven,” as part of scavenger hunt I was working on. (Scientists referred to it with the terms Michael mentioned, I don’t remember them in this instant.) Please read some simple ideas about Mathematics from Heaven in the moral of the scavenger hunt (which helped this term come to life). (-> *We are a crucial generation. The raise in global temperature and the extinction of many species, hurricanes, the melting of the icebergs, the death of the corals - these are all in process because our modern lifestyle is disrupting the pure mathematics-from-heaven formula.) Maybe the synchronicities some notice are supposed to enlighten all of us (that’s the one-size fits all meaning, more relevant in our context than the exact mechanism.) When the conversation got to theurgy, it for some reason made me recall of something I read in a book by Paul Bishop on Jung & Nietzsche, On The Blissful Islands. There used be something called "the telestic art", or the art of animating statues. I'm not sure if it ties into theurgy much at all, but overall the whole book is really great.
