2 years in and I can confirm physical changes. The fat in my thighs went down a lot , the bones of my arms are getting thicker, my ankles grew , my chest and diaphragm area got wider ,my delts widened, my forehead grew a bit forward and widened a bit. Though it sounds great and it is, I noticed that before every growing period there were some side effects, healing symptoms , extreme loneliness and doubt, irritability and anger issues, being on edge , lack of patience, some fatigue, and being either overly emotional or cold to everything. These may take hours-days at a time , I just observe them and try not to act them out as much as I can which should be the right approach, sometimes a scene from a movie leaves me sobbing which taught me how to feel the emotion without drowning in it , as well see memories from my childhood resurfacing. My voice as well sounds more alive , louder and easier to get out. I became very sensitive to heat and cold , some nights when it's cold I can really feel it and as well as the heat. In regards to females , I am a bit embarrassed to say this but I noticed myself being lustful to some degrees, I don't act out my lust cause I am trying to control my response to my emotions but if I had to rate this issue I'd give it 8/10 in some instances. What else.... I am more intuitive as well , my thoughts may get a bit wild due to various symptoms of anger and lust but I keep everything under control which isn't easy but is better than me losing myself in either hurting someone or masterbating with some girls body. I discovered I have many things to adjust regarding how I relate to others and the world so entering a relationship wasn't an option, another reason is if I entered another relationship I knew the lust was going to get the better of me , some days pass quick and some take forever, all and all I think that you'll experience to some degree what I mentioned. Though I just want you to be patient with your body , and yourself, and keep moving forward. Edit : update : my body keeps growing and changing, my eyes for some reason are getting bigger , more facial hair , overall physically I feel a lot sturdier. I think my body is growing the way it was supposed to because I stopped wasting the vitamins and proteins through the meaningless act of masterbation. For anyone who's on nofap keep doing it, it is very rewarding, you are doing yourself a favor. And for anyone who isn't yet on nofap , tf you waiting for , I am telling you , it's life on this side , every problem I couldn't fix back then is now so much easier and clearer , and with time , the things I had to work on showed themselves to me , I am still working on myself, but it's like after I finish a phase the next phase shows itself automatically , I am finally getting to the root of my addiction, and I am feel more freedom by the week. You gotta have faith , I made it this far out of desperation , I had to do it , because my life wasn't something I could keep continuing at that rate , how badly do you want freedom and the power it holds? I still have a lot of work on myself to do but compared to myself 2 years ago I am like superman and that's what counts. Fuck whatever they thought about me , they ain't the ones living through it , I am. That's the mentality you should hold if you want to get far in nofap and life and never forget, no matter the hiccups, no matter the storms , no matter what , do whatever it takes even if you lose your sanity and keep moving forward. Hang tight, it's a wild ride.⏩ 2nd edit : sup old me , I bet it was wilder than you thought. Many came, many left , but you are still here , through it all. Anyway , you are doing great , it will be wilder from now on but I know you got it in you , yes I know they are watching as well , that's all they can do so don't mind it at all.

Remember the benefits squandered. Feel into the emotions of the failure and the sensations in your body that result. Find the place where the sensation resides within. Then tell that feeling, the one stuck in that place in your body, that you no longer need its help. Say, "I needed you once when I was younger and weaker. Interestingly enough when I tried SR I, all of a sudden, grew a beard in my late 20s and got super ripped and mostly happy. Very well information presented and listening to what is mentioned. I began SR in June 2020. During that time, I noticed changes in my body. My muscles got a bit bigger for one. Plus, I exercise daily and don't eat junk food. Then, I had a relapse in January of this year. Went back on SR again the day after I relapsed and have stayed on SR for five months. I had a good long two-and-a-half-year streak on my first journey of SR.

Congrats bro. what is the secret of not relapse for you? For me i find it very difficult my longest streak was 90days.
@anw510 Жыл бұрын
@@ridwanismail5767 I did very well for these past 6 months, or so I thought. Prayed up and meditated every night as always before going to bed. A few days ago, I ended up having a nocturnal emission upon waking up from sleep. Felt a slightly drained and was disappointed that it happened after I did everything good to avoid it from happening. I don't know whether if I had a relapsed or not.
@quilville Жыл бұрын
@anw510 great news. That nocturnal emission you had upon waking up from sleep is not a relapse. Wet dreams/nocturnal emissions happen because the body has so much excess sexual energy in it, and it needs to replace it with new energy as you move along this wonderful semen retention journey. I had several of them while currently on Semen Retention, and the Universe confirmed to me through several different ways that I did not relapse and that the streak continues on. Remember: relapse only happens when you consciously, intentionally, deliberately decide to PMO. You’re fine.

Hey man. I enjoy your videos greatly. I would like to make a correction about your point about sleep. Sleep is not a response to fatigue and deprivation. That would be hibernation or being in a torpor which aren't exactly restful, rejuvenative states. Sleeping deeply and sleeping through the night requires energy, tolerance to stress and the ability to store glycogen in the liver. Darkness can produce a physiological change in stress hormones which can undermine a person's ability to sleep deeply which is a problem exercising yourself to fatigue isn't going to solve. Instead it would be more productive to indulge in stress relieving activities before bed, including eating carbs, getting elecrolytes like sodium, magnesium and potassium, breathing deeply and avoiding digestive distress. I've recently solved my own chronic insomnia problems by working on my digestive issues and for me this involved cutting out all starchy foods for a period of over a month, especially wheat products.

Hello. There are a lot of books in public knowledge that I’m happy to list off. Coiled Serpent and Bliss of the celibate is a great start! There are a few gems that I’m currently using to make my content though which Id like to keep under wraps until those videos are put out. It’s perhaps selfish of me but it took a long while to find some these titles and I’d like to use those efforts to make videos that share new knowledge and unheard of perspectives. I’m trying to keep it a bit unique and use sources of info that haven’t been accessed for a long time. I know this is selfish in some ways but I do plan on sharing the books and perhaps scanning to ebook too at a later stage and I’m sure many of the books you can already find in retention if you go down the rabbit hole. I understand you may not see my point of view here, I am here to help but I guess it’s in my own selfish way, hehe…Also you will find in the description section of many of my research based videos links to the research! Some knowledge that legit saved me and kept me going strong on my Semen Retention journey, is to stop eating at night. Think about it, why do we eat food. It's to give us energy so that we can be active and get things done. When we eat at night we are just disrupting our bodies natural rythm. We're supposed to be active during the day and resting/recovering at night. Eat as much in the morning and afternoon and go be active but do not eat after 2/3 pm. I hope this knowledge helps someone as much as it helped me.

im currently a graduate student evolutionary biologist. I study sexual selection broadly using lizards (A. sagrei) as my study system. Also an avid practicer of SR. The large scale transfer of energy stemming from our gonads seems to parallel with what we refer to as hormonal pleiotropy which involves the upstream and/or downstream processes by which hormones and their underlying genetic architecture facilitate the expression of a variety of physical/physiological traits (or phenotypes). I wouldn’t even consider a world where doubting that storing semen and allowing the cells to fully develop and flow through as many regions of our body as possible would allow for our complete development and provide the peacock effect. we are really the only animals that have diverted from the natural forces of the planet and SR restores order and peace. Everything around us is from the earth and the ‘wild’/ ‘nature’ are manmade idealogies. we are nature. stay focused and have fun on the journey fellas we wont lose 🦾‼️

If you struggle with this here’s a quick tip: Note all your relapses and look at them whenever you get the urge, then remember the feeling of loss and powerless after each relapse, then ask yourself if this instant short lived gratification is really worth it only to start over again. Surely you’ll relapse at the beginning of this journey, but if you have notes (with date and how many days you retained) you’ll easily figure out when you had the best times and when not, although motivation to start over after relapse will be high, you’ll realize the longer you retain the better your life experience becomes, as you’ll start to prosper more and more physically, mentally and spiritually!

Shut down the non essential items such as 1) stay calm and shut your mouth as much as it can, it will save energy 2) go for full day fast atleast 2 days a week, as digestion uses body energy to digest food, so keep your system rest 3) go for atleast 10-11 hours of sleep atleast for month if you need quick recovery. 4) eat foods that are nutritious and easily Digestible 5) stop work out for few weeks as doing workout also consumes energy. Just preserve more energy as much as you can, your recovery will full and almost complete.

best exercise one can do to exceed in life is the push up ,do 2-3 sets of 20-30 push ups before every meal and reap the magical benefits of calisthenics. This should be added to already existing workout routine of dips pull ups and squats.

Subscribed. How am I not lmao, 0:48 in and I subscribed. This is the 2nd vid of me watching ur videos, the first vid is about the vitality of semen, and how semen retention makes us live longer vs those who spill all the time live less. The part that I was shocked is how u mentioned that just by looking at the vessel you can see the intent, type and character of an individual. I thought I was the only one who thought this 👽

Good stuff as always! Did you find any studies on semen retention and its links with neurogenesis?
@ancientarchives012 жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes sort of! I came across an interesting study on sexual activity and neuro genesis. But I need to find out more! www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2904381/
@ancientarchives012 жыл бұрын
Another interesting point I came across is that testosterone and perhaps DHT has increased hippocampal neurogenesis, which is good for the brain. But DHT is said to induce male pattern baldness. This is interesting because people historically related a receding hairline to intelligence! It’s quite a complex topic it seems! Need to do more research, great topic though. Thank you for bringing it up!
@mindovermatter30232 жыл бұрын
@@ancientarchives01 This is interesting. I also have seen sexual activity listed as something that promotes neurogenesis but generally dismiss it as sexual activity usually equals semen wastage thus brain lecithin being wasted. I honestly don't know what to believe.

@@mindovermatter3023 Have you listened to your body after having sexual intercourse. You and only you know your body. I can tell from experience, you might feel good for 10 minutes after having sexual intercourse. That feeling will go away real fast. That being said, I came to the conclusion sexual intercourse may be detrimental to the male body if semen is depleted.

Yeah that’s why I have the mindset to retain for years straight because I want to recover from the years wasted. If it takes over 2 months to acquire mature sperm, then we have a lot of work to do and time needed to reach a certain peak despite feeling like we reached high levels early on the journey. From my perspective if one has fapped for example for 5 years then you must retain for 7 to 9 years to maybe fully recover given the body slows down as you get older. So ofc the earlier you start the better.

Loving your channel. The sleeping recommendations are completely impractable however. How many of us have the freedom to go to bed at dusk and rise at dawn? Only those with enough money to do that with their time. That said understanding how many hours your body needs is important.
@ancientarchives012 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for your comment. Totally understand where you are coming from, it’s hard! I didn’t really write them from a practical perspective but more of a biological perspective. I’m not sure how you should use that information and I’m sure for many it’s very hard to abide to those times. That said many people can work a 9-5 and sleep quite close to the sunset rose sunset schedule.

It's unknown to me what are your origins. But I truly believe that universe finds the ones it wants to for enlightening them and so are you as one of the chosen ones. I've been part of the SR journey in lesser serious ways but gradually have been increasing my knowledge as well as seriousness related to SR. SR has the potential to turn a man into a god for real. Just simply think through the fact about the ability given to us as men to recreate a new life with the help of another feminine partner ! That itself proves the ability of god in part being given to us. When on SR one must also be able to get a way deeper understanding of the being within or the soul within which helps in understanding what kinda massive humongous and ultimately unique creation are we. Thank you for making this video may the power be with you. Godspeed mate.

You state that the semen production starts at the thought of sex. So if there is no sexual thoughts and impulses, will there be no or less semen produced and therefore less testosterone ?
@ancientarchives012 жыл бұрын
Hello! I imagine that if less is being expelled then less is being produced and then less energy expended. I’m not sure about the testosterone yet. Anecdotal however, long term retainers have posted blood results online before after 6+ months and their test levels were significantly higher. I assume there is an overall increase if you are retaining but how much of that pertains to avoidance of sexual thought I wouldn’t know. Take this all with a grain of salt of course!

Hello! You’re still young! I’m not sure. None of this information is set in stone I recommend you observe how you feel and then decide from there. Some say masturbation is healthy.
