When do you think St John died and how?

Why is it that he thinks no development is the norm. Actually everything Paul did ahead of the day of pentecost was a development and he did not write any for quite a while. This thing that he is speaking of, the time of public revelation. Where is that in scripture? Time of relation? In Matthew 18. Jesus tells Whatsoever you shall Bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever you lose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Whatsoever" that's a huge amount leverage. "Whatsoever" the church did, icons, or (whatever) she did the Holy Spirit would justify. Because the holy ghost was lead ing into all truth. Unless Jesus lied. The lord didn't lie.Look at the scriptures Acts15: 28 It seemeth good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things.. There's not just men in a room talking at ecumenical councils; the spirit of Christ is not dead, or inactive or waiting around till the 1400s. Because we're outside of the "time a public revelation" ";as though that's some scriptorial idea. "Whatsoever " . That's huge. Huge.

What does the Holy Ghost leading His church look like then?

I was seend a grip in reply to reply Gavin Ortland's "accreations" assertions. I can't imagine how I became so confused. I wanted the Sola scriptura people to find that "time of public revelation" device he uses; for them to find that in scripture. Excuse me for having miss- replied.

@@dannyjackson5189 Don't you think it's a bit funny, a baptist pastor complaining about accretions? The entire baptist church is an accretion, lol....
