Eto yung lagi kong nadadaanan sa may Baclaran. I'm glad they restored it because although the old house before looked like a hunted house, it was really a beautiful artdeco mansion. Also, it's much profitable to demolish this building because it was sitting in a big chunk of land that is very accessible and ideal, and seeing it restored feels good. I do wish more private developers will do the same.

Thank you lhuilliers for restoring the mansion that we love and feared at the same time.thinking it was haunted...lol. But i was sad looking at it before...because i was thinking it will just be bought by these hungry for money developers and just demolish it and make it into a condominium . ..even our country doesn't care of the history of a lot of old mansions and buildings and won't list it as a heritage house or building....so it won't be demolished. Villaroman mansion is a unique heritage house..a reminder of our beautiful past...when the philippines is indeed the pearl of the orient and we just live beside it...everyday going to our school we will stare and marvel at that house.and praying that it will be restored to it's full glory...thank you thank you!!! QUEZON INSTITUTE is a very beautiful building ...and is in danger of being demolished by ayala or sm or either of these developers and just want to make it into a mall and condominium. ..please save that building!

This architecture and style is not Art Deco. It is more Spanish style (Baroque Roccoco?/Classical/or eclectic??).

If I am not wrong this is located at the what used to be called "Villamar " in Tambo , Paranaque ? I grew up in Paranaque but left the Philippines 30 years ago so it would be appreciated if someone on this comment thread could correct me if I am wrong. Thanks
