Today, I went to chicago Music Exchange to play some guitars and got the opportunity to play a real 56 and 64 j160. All I can say is that they sound amazing

Always amazed me how they just suddenly slow the tempo and raised the key by a half-step on the bridge - and yet it completely works and allows the song to end in a higher register, yielding a final satisfying shift from E to... D?!.

The backing track actually had George playing the claves. George's iconic part was overdubbed separately.

@@sampopkin Well then most sources are wrong. haha Ringo couldn't have been playing both at the same time. The claves are on the same track as Paul's live vocals, not with the bongos, bass and guitar. There's an earlier remake session where George tried to play guitar on the basic track but it didn't work out for whatever reason.

Yes I think George was much better with his chord vocabulary, like augmented diminished and #9 chords. But Lennon did know a lot of those too

l don't think George is using a plectrum, from the footage it seems he is using the classical thumb picking tecnique, although l could be wrong, the Spanish guitar is OP but the anglican musicians just can't play it right for some reason 😂.
