Thanks Mike. I use primarily construction grade wood. So movement is always a concern. Never want to sell a project that wobbles when the customer gets home. Small price to pay for a quality product. I also mention it whenever a new customer calls. "I use adjustable felt padded feet to protect any floor " something like that. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate that.

Great video and great advice on adjustable feet. Thanks for including the links in the description - that always helps. I believe a viewer could use a 1 1/8" spade bit instead of forstner bit if they have a spade bit or need to buy a bit on the cheap. Great content. keep it up.

That's a great tip Married Man. I like that idea with the spade bit. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍

Mike this was a great tip and explanation! I struggle with this on almost every build. Even though I assemble on a full level table, when I sit them on the floor there is some wobble :) Thanks again!
@Woodcraft7163 жыл бұрын
I hear you Tammy. I sometimes wonder if I cut the legs for example to size. Then joint it on the table saw. If those fist cuts are still square. If that makes sense. I just find them very convenient. Plus, they will protect hardwood and tile floors.

I can’t find any smaller than these, I want to taper my bathroom vanity legs but my contractor asked me to install feet levelers just incase the floor is wonky and I want whatever leg leveler recessed or hidden but I can’t find any that are small enough and tough enough because this vanity will have a solid quartz top so I may have to give up on tapered legs

I was thinking of adding adjustable feet to an Ikea bed frame. The width of the headboard and footboard is appx. 1.5". Would these feet work or would I need more width? Do you have any tips for screwing these into particle board? Haven't bought the bed yet. Just thinking ahead.
@Woodcraft7162 жыл бұрын
Hi MapleLeaf98115. The should fit perfectly. I think for best results, I would mark the center with a punch. Then follow the steps. Maybe a dab of CA glue.(super glue) and pound it in. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. 👍
