I feel like this was by far the best episode yet of this reboot: there was less in your face wokeness for clout and more diversity thrown into the mix in a more realistic way (since the new reboot made a statement of being super inclusive and all). Also the characters felt like their old selves and the fashion finally returned with a vengeance.

I think it’s because the viewers of SATC loved it so much, loved the fashion, the characters, the drama and the WHOLE show. People are allowed to feel robbed if this new series is incongruent to the lives their favourite characters were portraying before. I don’t think everyone wants to disagree and be negative for no reason

My theory is they're making the ladies look dowdy because they're all trapped in their own little hell. When they all start to change their situations and come to life, the colors will become brighter and the fashions will be less boring and mannish. Like putting Carrie in baggy mens' suits, putting Miranda in mom clothes and putting Charlotte in old lady tied-up-to-the-neck tops is temporary until each gets her mojo back.

I feel that 12 yrs old kid trying to be trans kinda irritates me. And all culture appropriation. It's all been so awkward because they had to bow down to all the SJWs who complained about lack of diversity, so we have all this obnoxious woke BS rather than just a natural progression of storylines. They should have stayed true to the formula and said eff the complainers. We really don't need woke crammed down our throats constantly.
@rieyenviyells78222 жыл бұрын
Are we seeing the same vid here?! I think you are mistaken. Charlotte didn't look homeless - not at all! As some people get older, they tire greatly of the too tight, overly form fitting clothing. Think of your own mother: does she look like a super model at every turn?! I doubt it! There's also boho and hippie chic - street chic, and so on. I think you should either invest in a fashion design class or pay closer attention to the latest fashion trends, because there is evidently, a disconnect there. You sound like a boring Karen. (No offense). Haha. XD

@kleeamd82742 жыл бұрын
@op you're doing a lot of assuming of what people presumably don't like about this trainwreck. It's not the "grown up" Carrie they don't like, it's the woke diatribe that they disdain. The being talked down to about liberal social issues. To have SJW propaganda shoved in their faces & down their throats every other second. The disingenuous way they explained Samantha's absence. As if she'd end her friendship with Carrie over Carrie wanting to hire a different publicist and, as Carrie said, that Samantha thought of Carrie as an ATM. GMAFB. Any true fan of the show knows that Samantha was the most loyal, understanding and reasonable out of the 4. Like that would matter to her? And even if it did, that would cause her to stop talking to the other 3 women as well?? Makes no sense. Just another example of the terrible writing. And more out of character not to show up in person to Big's funeral. Its insulting to the audience And as far as people not liking Carrie or the others being older, it would be perfectly fine if they didn't beat us over the head about their age every other second. Every other sentence, we get a reference that they're older now, as if the writers think the audience has no eyes to see with or short term memory problems. Not only that, they make it very depressing every time they bring their age up. Instead of presenting a positive attitude about it like Samantha, who said "I'm 50 & I will rock this F-ing dress." Or even on The Golden Girls - the women acted a lot more happy, content, vibrant, energetic and vital at their age than the 3 women on this show. Maybe stop assuming what people don't like and open your eyes to what the show really is
