3:28 I was 10 when I was at this game and this brawl was the coolest thing I had seen in my life up until this point and I told everyone about it. Jeff Kent immediately became my favorite player. I've never been able to find the actual video of the fight UNTIL NOW! Thank you for uploading this!!!!!

Why would you intentionally draw the ire of Albert Belle?

2:15 that was setup to be an inside pitch. It's Prima Donna's like Jeter that took the inside part of the plate away from pitchers.

2:29 but that was a breaking pitch. Youre not suppose to get angry at those
@forever-pk1hn2 жыл бұрын
Gary didn't get mad at that though he just went to first.

I would not make a good teammate... I wouldn't run out on the field when the scuffle starts. But I would get tweaked if I got purposely hurt.... and just take the bat with me... he used a ball... I'll just use the bat.

can you get hipolito pichardo (royals) hitting albert belle (cleveland)? one of the funniest things i've ever seen, 8th inning may 13, 1993. pichardo (all of 160 lbs) was obviously not trying to hit belle, the royals up 7-3 (in the 8th) and just looking for outs. but belle chased pichardo all the way into right field, i don't think he ever got to him... mike macfarlane getting the worst of it trying to tackle belle.

There's a video of 1993 brawls and it's in there.

Why do the bullpens even come out? I know the code and all, so no need to respond. But it would be more meaningful (and entertaining)if both squared off in center field and created their own scrum out there.

The first one the catcher is soft, there was nothing wrong there.

If I was a batter and got hit on purpose I wouldn't go after pitcher I would take the bat and drill the catcher.

And then your baseball career would be over.
@forever-pk1hn2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's why these are more often just postering instead of becoming violent. At the end of the day nobody really wants to throw away a multimillion dollar baseball career.

Ummm No…. have you never read about Juan Marchial doing exactly the same thing 50 something years ago??
