Cryo's problem is in the carries. Obviously they won't release an insane buffer before the cryo archon is here otherwise they would have to scuff her. Just look at how faruzan has a chokehold on anemo dps units as she was strong enough to lift terrible characters like xiao and wanderer into playable status. while that is possible in theory, it likely won’t be in practice. lots of dpses in this game have high theoretical ceilings (lyney) but in most rotations end up doing less. additionally, innate enemy auras will mess up that “perfect” rotation, if it does exist

Haven’t looked into it myself but from calcs I’ve seen from other people it should be as good if not better than the Furina variant and acts as a dual carry team. Both Navia and Mavuika do similar amounts of damage on that team so as long as you consistently get 2E on Navia Bennett buffed with some Mavuika hits it should be great

Mualani support is actually kinda fire, I use a mualani kiniche xiangling bennet team. Mualani uses ttds (She scales with HP)and cinder city and then use CA for a quick 150k nuke and build into er fro a 200k burst nuke. She gives 40% dmg bonus and 48% atk while doing around 350k every rotation.

man i think we haven't talked enough about the range of mavuika's pyro application, because im telling y'all xiangling's range is NOT it, in this abyss i did many runs with mualani and that pyronado range while decent, its wack with enemies like the consecrated beasts, they move a lot and you often miss, or for example bosses like the wolflord? if you are trying to one rotate him with mualani xiangling just wouldn't pyro apply him when he's midair, mavuika literally wouldn't even have this problem because of the range that QoL is unmatched, to that add that you won't be messed by energy requirements, lets say your guoba miss like, twice or you misplaced him (this one is a skill issue tho, but could very well mean a reset or a waste of time), with mavuika that doesn't happen either, guoba's AI is infuriating, mavuika's pyro application just works, it just automatically hit enemies in conclusion: i bet my ass im using mavuika over xiangling even if the team "requires" more pyro application, because even when thats the case, xiangling is a hassle, sure she does a lot of DMG and applies faster so thats why she's still busted, but it simply doesn't compete when we talk about "xiangling vs mavuika", but she might find a place on a second team tho, monopyro and chevreuse teams go crazy

Never mind Xiangling, we need 5-star Bennett! All I wanted from Mavuika was free-from-circle-impact Bennett sidegrade. Instead, what we got was another pyro DPS who steals our _one and only_ Bennett and demands Natlan support that's also doubles as a slightly better Dehya.

A question on Mono Pyro Klee teams, is Pyro Traveler fine to replace Xiangling? I am so tired of Xiangling...

Xiangling at C6 is actually a very food mono pyro unit because of her res shred and damage bonus. The issue with pmc is that on mono pyro they can’t react with anything to get the scroll buff which is basically all of their value tbh. If you want a mono pyro upgrade you can play Bennett Kazuha Xilonen or Mavuika would actually be an upgrade if you have a good weapon for her and she uses a more offensive set like codex.

Xiangling was powercreep, even in the cases were mavuika dont have enough pyro aplication like the wrio teams the damage she outputs still means more team damage overall so shes still better for those teams (xianling is only needed for national teams). Mavuika also have the best set in the game at her disposal and we dont even need to talk about the ER xiangling needs. the advantages of mavuika will only continue to increase as more and more natlan characters we get. Even with all that no character is a must pull there still plenty good pyro dps and xiangling is still a very good pyro sub dps but Mavuika will be the best at both of those rolls

stop the cap mavuika will certainly not be the best pyro support on all teams when clearly xiangling, as it was stated in the video, will situationally perform better. and i’m not sure why y’all use “b-b-but mavuika more personal dmg” when a lot of people don’t care and want their favorite character to be on field doing the damage, not mavuika. a good chunk of people would rather not switch to her to do donut spins bc they don’t care for the animations. additionally, the nightsoul requirement is restrictive and does not bode well for her longevity outside of natlan bc the next nation will be snezhaya, where they won’t hesitate to powercreep her

As for people dont care for giving her field time honestly that doesnt mather because if you play the game as intended the reality is that she IS better. As for her being powercreep you are dilosional because for that to hapen a it would make the rest of the genshin roster completly useless since shes above then.

The thing is xianling is only strong because of a glitch “ her snapshot mechanic “ and without that she would become absolutely mid tier at best so in my opinion you cant beat xiangling because she’s literally breaking the game, if that were to be fixed ( which i doubt hoyo would do that cuz it will cause an outrage ) then you can beat her

Ive been playing for 3 years and still have C0 Xiangling, C6 Xiangling he mentions seems like a impossible dream for non day 1 players. Many say that the shop or Lantern rite is a sollution but that ignores the better characters you have to give up like Bennet or Xinqui and their cons or getting new units you don't have like I did Yao Yao that served me more than a C1 Xiangling would. And not all players want to constantly swap to catch particles, its not fun at all, rather give her 100 more ER just so I don't have to.

Sure.. But it is such as hassle and worst if she is the only pyro.. And other than that, with non pyro dps, she doesn't do any buffing, hence why people like me are hoping to have mavuika to be better than xiangling in pyro application.. In team with bennett, she has better er.. But solo, xiangling is just abysmal.. Even with bennett + fav lance + full ER, wrong moves can result in missing energy..

@hal4683 yes, I didn't pull for her on her first run because I was expecting mavuika to be more of a support, so I was saving for her and planning to play something like kinich/furina/baizhu/mavuika, but her kit doesn't give him much besides dmg and I already have neuvi and arlecchino really well invested (so pulling for her because she's a good dps is not appealing to me), I think I will pull for emilie and use her, pyro mc and benny (and cope we will get a atk buffer without circle impact and better uptime for kinich in the future)

Honestly really disappointed about her situation with Mualani. The fact that she can't work with most of Mualani's best current supports and just doesn't work with C2 Mualani entirely is fucking sad. Never liked XL, used her a few times for Mualani, ran out of energy without bennett, could get her burst back for another 20s. Before Mualani, I never once used XL in the abyss except when there were the most annoying enemies in existence, the hydro and cryo heralds with infinite freeze

The thing about Mauvaika is that she is a weaker Xiangling, but can also play as a main or sub dps if needed. My issue with Xiangling is the energy for her burst and her only use is pure support. Mauvaika literally does every role as well as buff your Natlan characters with Nighsoul burst. She is honestly busted and does so much role wise. If you need pyro dps, mauvaika, sub dps pyro, play mauvaika, need pyro support that's not burst reliant to do support, play mauvaika. She is soo good at any role if you need a pyro for a team.

@Vomfee Xiangling is only really good at pyro application over time and being able to snapshot with bennet burst. She has only a few teams these days as a pyro support but thats going to change with mauvaika being the much better pyro character overall. Mauvaika having a fast press e skill to get constant aoe pyro application is amazing and will do similar damage to Xiangling burst. That and her multi role for pyro will make her valuable for a lot of team comps, moreso than Xiangling who needs a lot of energy and is stuck to a few teams.

Where we use aether's burst to melt and skill to set up swirl and scroll buff Aether skill -xilonen skill - kazuha swirl- citlali skill and burst and aether burst. (I have Chiori's weapon as a stat stick for him). Or should I do mavuika, ayaka, aether xilonen where ayaka burst bot with 250 er to apply cryo and mavuika burst to nuke melt off it using aether on scroll and xilonen as nightsoul filler and res shred. During the downtime time of Ayaka burst we can do charged attacks with mavuika and aether. I have verdict and Chiori's weapon.

I actually calculated this but didn’t include it in the video but they are pretty much equal lol it depends on your Mavuika’s weapon. With R1 Akuoumaru she was slightly worse but with serpent slightly better. Lyney also does more damage with Xl because of her C1 and C6 if that’s what you care about. Overall you really won’t feel that much of a difference in practice.

Everyone says Lantern right ignoring the much better character and cons like Xinqui and it would take 3 years to get C4 Xiangling, better to get C2 Xinqui. Not to mention getting new units > Cons, my Yao Yao gotten 2 years ago has helped me infinitely more than C1 Xiangling would have. And I still have no Yao yao cons so if I didn't pick her I still would not have her now
