Though this is more about the Natlan characters in general, one note I would say is that while Mavuika hasn't moved the needle much for the Pyro element, Natlan itself does. If you pay attention, every 5-star is designed to work with Pyro the best in one way or another (Mualani vapes, Kinich burns, Xilonen needs Pyro teammates for her support role, Chasca gets extra bullets, Citlali melts), so I feel that responsability for the Pyro element was shared to the whole Natlan roster, which sort of embodies the idea that "No one fights alone" If Iansan ends up being a 5-star Electro, I BET that she will work around Overload mechanics.

The first time I saw Natlan with saurians, I thought the characters in this region would use saurians as pets, fighting alongside them. Wouldn't it be great if Chasca rode her Qucusaur to fly around and fire elemental balls? Or if Mavuika had unique pets that she could use flexibly for traveling and fighting? That would really fit the vibe of Natlan. But now, I feel disappointed. A motorbike, a flying gun, a DJ controller, a pixel dragon... What the hell are those?

Furina requires healers but there are so many healers in such a variety that anyone could utilize her on release. When she was released there were 14 dedicated healers and 11 characters with incidental healing or HP manipulation in their kit. There were also 10 catalyst character without any HP manipulation mechanics in their kit, but who could wield the craftable Prototype Amber to fulfill Furina's requirements. There was a total of 35 characters who could, in some way, work with Furina, and thus allow her to work with your other characters even if those characters didn't have HP mechanics. Raiden Shogun rewards energy consumption and particle generation, but even if you have a cheap burst you can still utilize her because she doesn't require it to function. Shogun's ascension passive gives her 2 Resolve every 3 seconds when a particle is generated, which she can practically do herself with her skill, so in the 18 seconds you're waiting for her burst she'll generate 12 Resolve just from absorbing particles, meaning you only need 48 Resolve from energy consumption to completely reach her max. (If her skill isn't doing it, and your other party members aren't either, then the Favonius series of weapons can assist you in generating particles.) If you crown her talent she gains 0.2 Resolve from every energy consumed, so capping out requires three 80-cost bursts in the party to max out Resolve. However, everyone but Mavuika consumes some energy, so even if you have the cheapest team at three 40-cost bursts you'll have a total of 36 Resolve on your next rotation. When Raiden Shogun was released, the average Burst cost among all characters was 64.15, so with a random amalgam of 3 characters and her A1 passive you would generate ~50 Resolve, bringing Raiden Shogun up to 83% of her potential. She isn't meant to reach 100% Resolve in most teams, and even with 0 Resolve she can still use her burst. But if you absolutely *demand* that she have full stacks, there were 16 characters with 80 cost bursts at the time of her release. If you intentionally ran her with the 8 characters who had 40 cost bursts, she would have 36 Resolve and be at 60% potential. Mavuika requires Nightsoul consumption. There are fewer Nightsoul characters than healers, and it's a new mechanic so not everyone will have many options. She consumes 90 Nightsoul points on her own, bringing her up to 45% of her max potential. She needs 110 more Fighting Spirit to reach 100% potential, but she also needs 10 more Fighting Spirit to even activate her Burst in the first place. She gain 1.5 Fighting Spirit from normal attacks, so you need 7 normal attacks to reach the 50% threshold needed for activating her Burst, and 74 normal attacks to reach the 100% threshold of 200 Fighting Spirit. As for Nightsoul points, at the time of Mavuika's release the average Nightsoul expenditure of all characters is 5.7 Nightsoul points per character. There are only 8 out of 105 other characters at her release who even consume Nightsoul, with an average of 76 Nightsoul points consumed for each of them. (Assuming optimal conditions, since some have variable Nightsoul consumption.) If you throw on another Natlan character, she'll be at 83% of her potential, about the same as Raiden with a team of random characters on _her_ release, and will need 23 normal attacks to reach full potential. But if you try to throw Mavuika on a team of random characters, on average she'll be at 47% max potential and will need 70 normal attacks to reach her cap, and 3 normal attacks to activate her burst. But that's just a statistical average from how few and far between Nightsoul characters are - in most cases a team of random characters will be a team with no Nightsoul characters, and will be the same as running Mavuika by herself. Mavuika isn't designed to be run at 100% Fighting Spirit in all cases, but if you absolutely must then you need either 3 of the 8 current Nightsoul characters or you need only one of those characters and a bunch of normal attacks in swift succession. Mavuika is somewhere in-between Raiden and Furina. Furina wanted HP manipulation, and there were 35 characters capable of doing that. Raiden wanted energy consumption, and pretty much every character could fulfill that. (8 out of 41 characters were bad at it and 18 out of 41 characters were good at it). With items like Prototype Amber and the Favonius series there were plenty of characters who could partially contribute even if they weren't optimal. But for Mavuika, you need to be one of the 8 Nightsoul characters to contribute meaningfully, out of 105 other characters. To partially contribute you need to quickly perform normal attacks, and out of 105 characters only about 6 have normal attack animations that are meaningfully faster than average, one of which is Kinich who already has Nightsoul so his contribution is moot. The number of characters who can contribute to Mavuika's Fighting Spirit is vanishingly small, and the cost for not having them on her team is worse than running Raiden with the worst team possible. Honestly, comparing her with Raiden is the most frustrating part - only 8 characters were any bad for Raiden while only 8 characters are any good for Mavuika. Mavuika with a random good teammate is proportionally the same as Raiden with random teammates at 83% max potential. Raiden works with anyone and some are better than others, while Mavuika works with almost no one and of the few that work with her, some (normal attackers) actively suck at helping her. She's not a bad character by any means. Her numbers are insanely high, much higher than Raiden's were. But she *has* to be run in her best teams or those numbers fall off of a cliff. Raiden might have a lower ceiling, but at least her floor is high enough that you can add her to any account and still get to experience some of what she offers. With Mavuika you only have two options - her few good teams or utter failure.

Finally someone has done the math, I got tired real quick. of the people saying you don't need other Natlan characters/you only need one at most to regularly use her burst. And using Kachina doesn't count, she's absolutely useless in the team other than generating weak af shields through geo reaction, you're essentially running a three character team at that point. Pyro traveler seems to be a much weaker Xiangling from the short preview so we have to see how he actually works, but knowing how he was treated, he really isn't going to be game changing, but he might be better than Kachina. Mavuika is the most restricted and paywalled/p2w character in the game. She's a limited 5 star who needs specific 5 star supports to work at her best or else she's at best as good as your owned DPSes. She might be better as a sub DPS but let's be real here, barely anyone will use her for that.

@@thegamerfe8751 Kachina and Traveler can both buff Pyro with Cinder City so they aren't the worst. And Traveler is pretty impressive for his ability to consume so much Night Soul - he can refill his bar so many times that he consumes a total of 98 Nightsoul points, the most of any Natlan unit so far. Him and Mavuika get to 188 Fighting Spirit together, meaning you only need 8 normal attacks to reach Mavuika's full cap. However, they trigger so much Pyro together that enemies will always have Pyro auras, so it's actually really difficult for either of them to gain ownership of Pyro reactions. This means that, effectively, Traveler can't trigger the Cinder City buff reliably and Mavuika can't Vape or Melt her hits. So while theoretically they pair well together, it's hard to say how they'd actually do in practice.

nah pneumosia was a nothing burger mechanic from begging to end since it has 0 uses or weight in gameplay (i never even noticed it during abyss or overworld battles and didnt care if a char was one or the other since it meant nothing in 99.9% percent of the time, furina having both never mattered in her usage too), bound of life had potential but hoyo made it only matter in arle's kit, siegewinne and clorinde hardly are impacted by it. mavuika is tied to nightsoul on the other hand which is too impactful to be ignored for better or for worse, thanks to its character mechanics and artifacts tied to it even in 10.0 at khaenrya we will still be having to weight using mavuika or other natlan characters in comps that should not have them just to access nightsoul and its benefits.

@@agzane268 against one boss in overworld maybe but its a failed mechanic that hoyo has clearly found lacking, even in fontaine's end cicle bound of life was more impactful of a mechanic than it since it actualy had gameplay weight in character kit expression other than "once every blue moon it can be nichely used vs a few regional bosses". nightsoul is the polar opposite of a mechanic, too powerful, too impactful to be ignored being not tied to the region enemies for its effects but to characters and artifacts, mavuika is the consolidation and zenith of it on both power and impact; as she's a 2 characters for 1 deal thanks to it, a top tier buffer sub-dps when no nightsoul/natlanese other than her is in the team AND a top tier dps if you bring any other natlan sup. only way for her to be forgotten is if hoyo dial up the powercreep to 11 and at that point even neuv would be weak at such point.

she's a 2 chars in 1 deal, new players can freely use her as the new xiangling without anyone else from natlan but if natlan enjoyers want them they can use her as a cracked main dps. most chars have a single role they can be used in (arle - dps, nahida - offield dendro...) mavuika can do 2 well and at highly competitive levels too (which is also something rare in genshin for some reason, most jacks of 2 trades fall short in 1 or sometimes both expected usages, mavuika is the outlier to this terrible rule)

It is understandable that mavuika builds that way because natlan did not have an elemental energy system due to non-existent ley lines. Another reason perhaps mavuika's own elemental energy almost died out and she used her gnosis to fuel up sacred flames. Her fighting spirit is the only thing that fuels her elemental energy. She's destinies to die not for long.

the reason why she feels restricted is because Genius hoyo decided to give us back to back to back DPS before the Pyro Archon, leaving us with only one choice which is Xilonen who's a support. Kachina was supposed to be Xilonen lite that can easily fill Mavuika's FS meter but, even her, they also made into a dps/subdps and she's just overall bad.

Nahida: Dendro the Character vs Mavuika: Natlan the Character Mavuika's gameplay was not designed to be "The Pyro Archon" but to be "The Leader of Natlan". Mavuika's buff from their ult is really only meaningful for Natlan on-fielders (Kinich and Mualani) due to how it stacks, hence why Mavuika's gameplay is not only heavily restrictive, but makes her also a "sometimes" better Xiangling. Hence: "Natlan the Character" (Notably, I don't think we'll see someone be a better off-field driver than Xiangling tho due to her high dmg as well as 0 ICDs, making it so that Childe/Raiden national won't change for a LONG time)

Her passives, cons, and signature weapon, and signature artifacts wants her to be a dps that's separate from the traditional crit. She converts all types of healing into some form of dmg that's why more healing bonus% = more hydro dmg% = more clam proc = huge total dmg. The community is a circus. She's one of those transformation type characters like raiden, xiao, cyno, itto, and now mavuika.

The whole natlan region is controversial. Lets talk Inazuma, characters, architecture, all gave us hints of Japanese culture. Civil war, 2 war camps, fortifications, enemy design of ronin and samurai warriors, the execution of it all was lacking but the setting was there, other regions had bits of it in them as well. Now, enter Natlan, we see wild west grand canyon setting, hippies high on weed communicating with spirits, dinosaurs walking around with dears, constant war with the abyss but no war camps nor fortifications, no guards, all that while living in tribal matter sleeping in tents. They have gladiator battles to the death, to send the winner to fight a war to the death, Instead of sending everyone. Then we get the characters, that are straight out of cyberpunk, heavy mining equipment and large gundam plasma cannon for mounts, jet bikes and high end equalizer swords and DJ stands. Natlan seems to be a work project of several teams that had no communication.

Same i just don't feel the "fantastical" aspect anymore in natlan, like I do in sumeru or monstad or liyue natlan just feels way too modern for a supposed tribal setting, as for people saying there's always been robots and modern equipment, yes, there is robots in sumeru and fontiane but remember they have whole research institutes built around making these robots, and Fontaine was supposed to be the super advanced mechanical marvel nation NOT natlan, the entire education system in Fontaine largely revolves around making these mechanical wonders, natlan dosent have that, all they have is some talented blacksmiths and you're telling me that they (xilonen) built a whole bike and rideable gun by herself????

Honestly the fact that Mavuika has no way to increase the amount of nightsoul points characters have access to outside of Natlan was such a huge mistake. Like, consider how Furina worked. A lot of Fontaine characters already has HP loss/regain in their base kits, and Furina doing that be default gave all of them increased access to that ability. Similarly, Nahida applies dendro better than anyone else in the game, making her the ace for any dendro team. Mavuika doesn't really give any extra utility to other Natlan characters. Off-field pyro who can use the Natlamn support set? The Traveler does the same thing. So rather than make her kit unique, like for example, giving her the ability to create a phlogiston bar outside of Natlan, they just made her really absurdly strong. Which just feels lazy for an archon. Like all their effort went into bIKE and none into how to make a must-pull pyro unit.

Mavuika is in a biker chick outfit with spurs on her boots. The bike is goofy af, not to mention it completely breaks the immersion for me. And there could have been SUCH an easy fix, take inspiration from Rell from LoL. Give her pieces of armor that become a mechanical horse, so that she rides a metal horse rather than a bike. Imagine the horse attacks, imagine her riding it, imagine it sprouting wings when she takes flight. I hate her looks and kit, and I resent Hoyo for using her kit to be predatory with their players.

This is the problem with many modern characters. They are given weapons for no apparent reason (probably to rip you off for more primo or money, LMAO) and they don't even use them. The best examples of using their weapons to the max are still Eula and Diluc. You can tell by looking at them that they are actually claymore users, and that's fucking awesome. as an officially 1 year old player (started on jan 1st YAY!): even while having xilonen (180 pulls for her were painful...) and not having a single pyro MAIN dps, mavuika is in a really awkward spot for players like me (enough resources, most of her preferred team mates, etc.). I can pull for waifu, i dont mind (and I will) but she may be the least "I must pull" archon ive felt in this whole year. even while having a c1 neuvi I find more reasons to pull for zhongli than her and that is disappointing to say the least. she brings damage and a bit of support but she is so restrictive that im having issues on how to build around her even if I have all of the pieces for her because of neuvillete. I am not going to "unbuild" my neuvi team for her, I am not going to swipe like crazy just for her to be similar to my already f2p friendly neuvi team and she barely fits on other teams but with lower performance to the point that instead I would prefer to throw kazuha to that other team and be done. ngl, hoyo did not cook mavuika enough for her to replace the REAL pyro archon, OPPA.

She was floating in the air and cracking the sky with her fist, that imo is way more cooler than her bike. I wouldn't mind the bike for exploration since they already decided to go the biker way with her outfit, but I hate that it is everywhere in her gameplay. Easy skip for me. We all know the real Pyro Archon is Bennett anyway. After building 4 Pyro DPS characters, I don't need another just to clear the Abyss few seconds faster when it literally doesn't even mean anything. i did the same thing, but honestly i feel like waiting it out was the right call. making sure you have enough for the characters you want, and know who you really need for sure to make those characters work. it also gives us time to build her up quite a bit, and then when xilonen finally gets a rerun we are going to see a giant boost in damage which will feel nice after getting used to mavuika's damage and rotation with out xilonen. gotta look at things on the positive side of things. sure mavuika isn't going to totally delete all abyss content like she would with xilonen, but she will still clear it without her. heck even if you can't bring your self to run her as a main dps, there are several off field pryo teams she's good in, you can use her in those while you wait and build her up. that's my plan, since i have kinich and i hate using xiangling, so its an easy choice for me. also think EM burgen mavuika could be amazing. finally have a burgenteam that doesn't require xiangling, again hate her, or thoma, who... freaking thoma is also annoying to use.

The problem with Mavuika is that she's Locked into Natlan Characters if you want a DPS. Unlike Raiden who only needs High Burst Cost Allies. And even then generating Enough Particles can Suffice. Mavuika is the least Universal Archon in Genshin. I hesitate to evem call her an Archon in terms of gameplay.

You already acknowledged that raiden is fine for hyperbloom without constellations, so no point arguing further. Mavuika NEEDS a natlan character to function. It's non negotiable, her burst will take absolutely forever to charge without it, and you will also most likely never hit the max energy for it without at least one on the team. It's not an exaggeration to say that she's not universal at all, given how useful Furina/Raiden (your examples) can be used with many MANY different teams whereas you are locked to at least two or three natlan characters if you want to use Mavuika.

I just can't get over the motorcycle. It sticks out like a sore thumb making Mavuika look like a RWBY OC. Monstad, Liyue, Inazuma and even Sumeru to large extent felt like logical interpretations of ancient civilizations based on their real life counterparts, but stuff like DJ tables and motorbikes are like a slap to the face. Fontaine was not that good with the mechs either, but at least they fit the water -> steam -> steampunk theme. At this point I expect the Tsaritsa to use a laser cannon as a weapon and drive a Ferrari 812 GTS.

Agree besides the Gardemeks, I think they're fine as far as Fontaine's Victorian era-meets-Steampunk aesthetic. At the very LEAST you can see their mechanical nature with the gears, stiff and rigid movement, the lifeless mechanical ticking and whirring sounds they make and of course the keys you can see in the back of them, reminiscent of wind up music boxes. Natlan on the other hand is a thematic mess of supposedly being the "Nation of War and Dragons" and land of Pyro when you see very little dragons, very little Pyro influence honestly, and the characters despite Natlan having a deeply rooted tribal culture, are flying around on motorcycles and full on guns or having DJ tables.

i feared this would happen. basically each element has something specific they are praised for. anemo CC and VV/support. Geo defense, Electro battery, Dendro EM and its unique reactions, hydro healing, hp and off field application. Cryo was known pre dendro as the next best damage element with parts comfort over power with the freeze reaction while still having a good diverse roster with Diona, Rosaria, Keaya and chungyun. pyro in my mind has always been damage damage damage and just damage. those who dont deal damage are amber and xinyan while xinyan's purpose was supposed to be damage. its the only element where all limited 5 stars are onn field damage dealers and deyha can be played as one too. It's 3 supports are mostly used because they just add soo much damage to their respective teams. bennett buffs the main dps (often a pyro one) to the heavens, burgeon thoma exists and his EM dictates damage, chevreuse is an overload nilou, it only being a viable team because of her. there are no niche or unique characters. xinyan has split scaling and still has bugs in her kit so i dont count her because hoyo doesn't care about her. From the moment we met Furina in Fontaine I found her interesting and entertaining and the more we learned the more interesting she became. Any Archon coming after her and how good the Fontaine story line was at a disadvantage imo, Furina even had high competition with Nahida's backstory and Sumeru but they really did a good job with Furina. But they really didn't even get anywhere close with Mavuika and Natlan. The only part of the Natlan story line that had me invested was any time Capitano was around. I am not a huge fan of her design but I can see why others like it and her kit is not what I wanted it to be. Mavuika is the first Archon I am skipping.

Imma keep it a buck. I have been saving ever since Arle's last banner to more or less guarantee c6 Arle. Plan was to c6 her and use leftovers to grab Mavuika. So of course HYV plants Arle rerun after Mavuika. This might be the first Archon I pass for the rerun banner purely because of predefined goals, though at least I'll have time to save for at least a c2 Mavuika by her rerun.

@@ultima1594 yeah, but they fullfill different roles? Mavuika is a hybrid of Sub DPS + Buffer if you use the artifact set while Xilonen is a healer + Buffer if you use the artifact set. But again, it depends on what you need. I myself have Kinich and i dont like how Xiangling's Pyronado sometimes goes the opposite side of Kinich's rotation so i will pull for Mavuika. And i do like her design so yeah its preference

You clearly aren't looking at her close enough then, because she absolutely can be that. I use her like that when the line-up looks better that way. For example: Chlorinde, Mavuika, Bennett, Chevreuse. After Chlorinde's Skill has run out (when she's notoriously weak waiting on CD), Mavuika can Burst, and then move back to Chlorinde. I was using Raiden for that purpose, but Mavuika's Pyro application is much better for the Overload synergy with Chevreuse.

not speaking of anything related to her combat, her design is straight up atrocious. the bodysuit pussy zipper is one of the ugliest looking outfits i've seen. i have gripes about her bike and chasca too, but mavuika is the most out of character in genshin so far. she legitimately feels more of a collab character than aloy does that's how much mavuika stands out and not in a good way. her character trailer took my gripes and amplified them. venti, the bard god who loves drinking and singing, does not do any singing but the god of fire and war does? really? it's seriously disappointing. as for her combat i do really enjoy how fast paced and interactive the natlan characters are. finally having a good off field pyro applicator is also great and she will last for a long time like almost all archons. i am a little worried that during 6.0 characters she will not bring in new team comps because you really want nightsoul characters though. if you already like natlan characters and pulled for them, and you also like mavuika's gameplay then she's definitely worth it. my dislike of her aesthetic and design is personally too strong for me to consider.

I'm a lore guy so my POV is definitely more skewed but I think her kit feels pretty in line with Natlan as a nation. It's isolated and has a distinct style which feels out of place with the rest of the nations. Which tracks with how she functions best with other Natlan units and that she doesn't use energy like the other archons. Hell she's not even like a traditional archon/archon like being. She's just a plain old human. This interpretation will definitely be tested when the Tsaritsa becomes playable to see if she has a kit like other normal archons.

I was hoping for more of a Nahida or Furina type of character that would make her elemental teams much better. Mauvika is more of a Raiden Shogun who can be good, but there will always be another option that is just or good, or even better. The most disappointing aspect of mavuika I found is she failed to do what other archons gave us. Venti: CC and energy gain. Pretty fitting for anemo ✅. Zhongli: shield and petrification. Very earth element way to go ✅. Raiden: application and battery. Literally what element is about ✅. Nahida: very reactive and em buffer. Following the core aspect of dendro element as whole ✅. Furina: buffer and HP fluxer. Embodying the aspect of hydro and making the DPS set work for every character ✅. Mavuika: DPS and......... No nightsoul sharing? ❌ Following from inazuma to Fontaine, archons made their respective region artifact set work as Raiden enabled burst oriented playstyle making emblem every viable, nahida making gilded set work perfectly on any DPS and furina making hunter set work for everyone. Point being they made their artifacts work universally while mavuika failed to do that. Codex set is purely limited to natlan making the game for new players and old players difficult. This didn't happen in previous regions as somehow sets were made to work around universally and this really hit it hard on me when i saw mavuika is just a cash bag unit with fan service and her motorbike which really doesn't feel genshin like. What's your opinion?

I think Genshin breaking every artistic fantasy choice element they supported on other nations to give tech stuff to Natlan characters just made it very messy to me, it just feels all over the place and doesnt seem connected like rest of the nations at all and honestly characters had been surface level comapared to most of Fontaine and Sumerus roster. I think they played with weird gimmicks too much and ended up with a sorta lackluster nation, hence why its reception is so low.

I Heard a leak saying she was gonna be cryo 🤔. Altho hydro makes sense with the whole being Childe's Master and having the Narwal as her pet. There’s an easy way to fix Mavuika’s problems with generating Fighting Spirit. -Every instance of Pyro Reaction damage can generate 1 point of Fighting Spirit. -Every Charged Attack hit can generate generate 3 points of Fighting Spirit This gives can make her synergistic with other Pyro and Claymore characters, without downplaying the relevance of Natlan characters. Claymore charged attacks are basically useless unless, unless you’re Itto or Mavuika.

Mavuika is the embodiment of everything wrong that the genshin community has allowed hoyo to get away with, that being greed and mindless consumerism. They can make her team as restrictive as they want because "people will still buy", they can make her aesthetic as incohesive with the game as they want because "people will still buy", they can make her best supports other limited units because "people will still buy", they can run her at the same time as another new unit that's her best support and gatekeep free pulls into after her banner because "people will still buy". I feel like a lot of these problems could be solved if they made a artifact set (or a few) that converted elemental skill/burst to nightsoul, or one that gave a large bonus to mavs burst on auto attacks. So natlan characters would benefit the most because they generate night soul naturally, but then many other teams could at least work with mav in both the main dps or support role. Could be interesting if mav held cinder city and others held the theoretical nightsoul artifacts.

I love mavuika but i don't like mavuika embodies the current pyro element too well. We already have too many pyro DPS. If they wanted a 2 playstyles for her. Just make the tap skill having a longer uptime or a shorter cooldown. Separate cooldowns for tap and hold for characters skills already exist, so hoyo don't have the excuse 'we just don't know how to code this'. The first character with a elemental powers, anemo traveler has different cooldowns. Out of the 5 previous archons 3 had differing skill cooldowns depending on whether it was tapped on held. Venti, zhongli and nahida but to a much lesser extent

All of my gripes about the cultural representation issues Mavuika has aside, it bothers me the most that she wasn’t designed like Furina to allow non-Natlani characters to take advantage of Natlan specific mechanics. I really expected them to make her able to allow any character to use the Natlan carry set, and refresh night soul points a lot so that the Natlan characters can use their skills for longer even when not in Natlan. No regrets in skipping this entire region of units.

Unfortunately I think Natlan was always just about traversal, so Mauvika is novel in the sense that she can do all the traversal methods instead of just one. Arleccino is the real pyro archon in my eyes. Bond of Life queen. I didn't even like Arle when she first came out [but it was literally my first banner and I didn't know enough about the game yet.] Now she's the best pyro DPS and my favorite Fatui Harbinger from the ones we know.

I think one of the biggest issues with Mavuika is that they're clearly trying so desperately hard to make her the "cool archon", but she's just so unbelievably boring. Think about it. Every archon has something interesting in every aspect - kit, visual design, story. For example: Venti - best crowd control in the game, androgynous style, connection to celestia. Let's think, as for gameplay, she attacks with a bike. That's just dumb, isn't she supposed to be a great warrior? Hence she'd be very skilled martially? Why would you make her gameplay into spinning in circles??? Design-wise, she's wearing a black leather jumpsuit (let's not talk about the zipper) and sunglasses. They have no connection to anything in the world, or our world, or any of the tribes of Natlan. Story-wise, what defines Mavuika. She's strong... And that's it. Her personality is as interesting as mud. Everyone praises her as the best thing to happen to Natlan since sliced bread. She has no flaws. I just hope they do something interesting in the story with her being human, not a god. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. They desperately want her to be cool, but she's just not. So what do they do? MASSIVELY overinflate her numbers in order to sell her.

Remember, she has two playstyles; on-field and off-field. If u skipped all the way until mavuika and didn’t pull any natlan character (not even ororon), u can still use her as off-field. Don’t sleep on her off-field potential. Bonus: u can play her as a duel dps in navia and chlorinde overload comps. The best part abt these teams is u don’t need a natlan character cuz mavuika can use her full burst every other rotation and still contribute greatly due to her skill dmg.

using only mavuika e is like using neuvillette's balls to heal hydro traveler Edit: ok also noticed something by accident, you are spreading misinformation. Mavuika can't use her full burst in the dual DPS teams, only "half" of it (aka 100 fighting spirit instead of 200.) This lowers her DPS by half and makes her buff 20% decrease overtime instead of 40%. Also she loses 30% atk due to not having natlan character in the team as well. Probably xiangling in that specific scenario would be better tbh. Happy new year pookies :D

One of the problems with dps Mavuika also stems from the types of Natlan characters we recieved. Outside of the only 2 Natlan supports that work with Mavuika, which Xilonen is a universal support, we've recieved mostly dps units. Had Chasca and/or Kinich/Mualani been replaced for Natlan supports, Mavuika's role as a main dps wouldn't have much problems since almost every Natlan char was built around her. Chances are we're getting an additional Natlan buffer (better if buffs exclusively Natlan chars) to solidify Mavuika's role as a main dps, and/or we get another Natlan exclusive artifact that enables Mavuika to out dps Xiangling through buffs

If the bike looks more tribal or natlanese, I think people wouldn’t really complain but since it looks so similar to bikes we see here it kinda breaks immersion, heck that’s what I felt with xilonen heck I hated everything about xilonen’s theme aside from her design, which actually looks cool.

Natlan weird. The we're all lin this together oddly is prioritizing like rainbow teams or these natlan specific teams. I can't help be be forward thing and think about what this means for Shneznaya. I feel like all the points made here about natlan and the archo would ring true for region 7. But there's a lot of time between now and then so things can change.

Most of the people I know only wanted her to contest Xiangling. You need 2 teams in Abyss after all, so Xiangling would still have a place. Instead they made her Pyro application only barely enough and then gave her great Dmg to compensate. Which is nice, but we have plenty of Pyro DPS. We needed a Sub DPS and Support and they gave it to the Traveler instead, and of course it’s the traveler so it’s under tuned. It’s made better for Mavuika by C2 but that’s scummy. Between that and the fact that there’s no expansion and no free 10 pull till after she’s gone, some of my friends are skipping. It’s sad man. I got Xilonen super early so I have enough for Mavuika but it’s just deflating. Vibes are low.

As a low spender C6R1 Raiden haver. I use Raiden solely as a main DPS. With that being said. I have the flexibility of having Raiden in a Hyperbloom mixed team with Furina Nahida and Baizhu, or an aggravate one if I want to pair her with Miko. But por hypercarry her most funcional team is of 4* Bennet, Chevreuse and Sara or Xinagling. Even as a main DPS she has some flexibility. And that counting she's the only character that scales with ER and didn't get buffed with an specific support for all this time.
