"I've seen some good singers. He can't be that good". Watches first video (SOS) from Dimash......Then........"Holy crap face, I can't believe what I'm hearing". I've never heard anyone do this" Yep...we all thought the same thing and had the same reaction when we first heard him. This is why we love seeing people discover Dimash for the first time. You can't believe what you're hearing and yet you are indeed hearing it......from a MAN! Dimash has a way of reaching in, grabbing your soul and taking you on an incredible emotional vocal ride every time. You haven't seen/heard anything yet. Whenever I watch this one and more of his songs, I have tears, gossebumps and smiling, all at the same time🎤🎶🎼🦅🦋🦋🦋🎤🎯🌌💖 I think that if Fredy Mercury could see this wonder, from where ever he is, he would be smiling and singing with him 🤝🏼🙏🏼 I am in shock with Dimash, one day he is going to kill me with his wonderful music😊 Thank you from Spain 🙏🏼💕 Dimash has a new song (his idiom) and is very cool, he always surprises

For 36 years, despite being a music loving person listening to all sort of genre, in different languages from all around the world, I had never had ANY artist I would call My Favourite artist / singer / performer....UNTIL I met Dimash which simultaneously fill up all that vacant seats. He has got the voice, skill, technique, passion, charisma, physics, attitude, personality made him not only the greatest singer / performer / artist of all time, but also as a role model of the world. I've seen news of DEARS (dimash fan club) from a country (i cant recall), doing charity works for the orphanage on Dimash's Birthday as they celebrate it without Dimash being present. That how good his influences is...

@debbiemorgan8592 жыл бұрын
@@alan-reacts65 Dimash himself led the example for charitable work. He spends his birthday visiting the elderly or orphanages and he specifically asked that fans didn't send him expensive gifts but instead gave that money to charity. The Dears built on that by also giving their time and energy to charity. On Dimash's Wikipedia page you will find some of the humanitarian work he's done that the Dears have managed to find out about. We don't find out about a great deal of it as he doesn't talk about it. His favourite saying about it is that the left hand shouldn't know what the right hand is doing. The biggest thing he has done was the Dimash Digital Show. All profits from that concert went to Project Cure, the charity he is a Global Ambassador for, which provides free medical aid across the globe.

I'm a Dear from the UK and I have to say this is probably the best reaction to this song I have ever seen. I love your tolerance for his language skills, at this point he knew very little English (or Chinese) so to get it as good as this with all the emotion in the song speaks volumes to his musical ability even at this early stage. Obviously his English has improved dramatically and he even conducts interviews in English without an interpreter now. Dimash did a small concert in the UK in 2018 but we need to raise awareness of him in this country so that he considers coming back and having another one.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With friendship Rui Baptista

Greetings from Canada! Welcome to the world of Dimash! You seem to be able to read him very well and to appreciate the way he uses his full vocal range to express the emotions of a song. You interpreted this song the same way I did. In the beginning he shows hopelessness-blank face and eyes. In the second part he shows what's going on inside- with the sadness of his voice. Then he shows determination to not let his situation or feelings keep him from what he loves in life. The final part is the show! Singing his heart out, giving his best and even more! People have said that Dimash doesn't just sing his songs, he lives them right there on stage in front of us. I also like the way you understand the difficulty of singing in another language. Many people don't think about how they would sound if they had to sing in another language and had a week to learn the song! I've learned a few bits from Dimash's songs in Kazakh and it took me several days just to learn a line or two! And who knows how my pronunciation is!! Glad you are planning to continue to look at Dimash's work!

👉 In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden until then. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. "The Show Must Go On" was the 3. song in the competition. Participants have one week to learn the lyrics and arrange the song. Dimash did not speak English at this point. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZbin ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won). Hi Alan and thank you for a thought provoking reaction! I was a few years too young for the hippie movement but I did adopt their values and their way of thinking. I detested the "old values" and acted accordingly (actually I was always a good girl). Now I'm full of admiration for a person who is a true patriot, deeply religious, has no bad habits, is polite, respects his elders etc. But here is the thing: these are true values for him, not some empty words or behavioral patterns without any true meaning. And there is more: his conviction of equality between people and nations, his love for peace, his worry about the environment...I don't idolize him, but so far I have had no reason to doubt his genuineness. If you choose to react to Opera 2 (2. episode), please take the longer version with subtitles and clips before and after the performance. Love from Finland.

I think what I like the most about him is that he sticks to his principles but he never tries to force them on others. He never said his values were better than others, and he never speaks about other people’s lives. When talking about his religion or his family, he always speaks about what it brings to him, personally, positively, but he never says "others should do the same". He knows religions and beliefs are personal and he respects that. He says himself we’re all children of a same Earth and all humans are equal no matter what. And when I see people with that kind of mindset it gives me hope in humanity.

Music is an international language. Keep doing Dimash chronologically if you can, and we can all share this journey with you. Thanks 🏴

Thank you for your great reaction. And thank you for your point of view about his English pronunciation. It's getting on my nerves when reactors say about his pronunciation and they can't even say his name right 😂 I always ask them to decide which English pronunciation is the correct one, UK, American, Australian, Irish, Canadian, Scotish.... and I never watch them again. 😂

Hi Alan. Idk what you know about Dimash yet but I'll throw my 2 cents in. He is from Kazakhstan as you mentioned. They have celebrated 30+ yrs of being free from Russia. They are the 9th largest country in the world and probably have more love for their mother land than any nationality I know of. Anyway Dimash started his music training and education at age 5 when it was discovered he had perfect pitch. He holds multiple degrees in music and is working on his PHD in Musicology . Its not an exageration to say music is his life. There are a number of factors that contribute to his ability to be called the best in the world. He still trains 3 hrs daily with a trainer if possible. If not he says its him and the piano. Hes very athletic and one of his favorite sports is swimming. So using that to increase his vocal abilities he swims full lengths of large pools holding his breath to increase his lung capacity. In the song Sinful Passion he does a 24 second RUN on one breath. It makes you feel like you need to breathe for him. I'm glad you mentioned the language in that performance. Yes he sings in 13 languages, but doesnt speak them, he speaks his mother tongue, Russian, and his English has improved tremendously and hes learning Mandarin which he says is very difficult. On those contest performances they had 1 wk to learn a song and hes doing them in languages foreign to him! He performed a few months back in Russia and in an interview afterward the gentleman who was the emcee said, son you dont sing 7 octaves, you sing 8. Dimash has said recently that he doesnt keep track, that only the performance matters. He plays 8 instruments as well. In 2019 right before Covid hit he played a sold out concert in New York to 13,000 and fans came from 68 countries to see him! And on that same tour when he appeared in London his grandmother said fans came from 74 countries to see him. No other artist could do that. No one. And he is an extremely shy, humble, kind, respectful and loving human being. I've been a Dear for a couple of years and not a day goes by that I dont listen to him. Hes a jewel in this cruel world. 💙

I love your reaction and your appreciation for Dimash; yes, let someone else go and try to sing a song in Kasakh or Russian, etc.!! English is a very difficult language, because there are so many inconsistencies in how letter combinations are pronounced. He was only 22 here, and his English skills and knowledge have improved exponentially over the years. Thank you for a wonderful reaction. 🙂

I just found you and I'm glad I did 🥰.. I've been following Dimash since that show in China in 2017! As well as his and his family's interviews etc etc etc... YES, he has ALWAYS loved Queen and Michael Jackson. They were his idols as a kid and what he did with this and the Forever Queen medley he flew back to do with the Super Vocal Boys are absolutely incredible and i wholeheartedly believe that Freddie Mercury would have absolutely adored him and the stuff of theirs that he's done!

@13:07, ish... Your so very right! As new as you are to our Dimash, I am ecstatic to hear you say that about his performing! I saw someone react to him doing SOS in 2021 I think it was, on his Digital Concerts that he made for us to get to STILL see him perform during the pandemic. And they literally said that they can understand why people don't want to see Dimash (which I've never ran across since 2017) and saying that he gets it "because he is completely an over-actor"?!?! I have to admit that I was pretty upset at that! The Dimash I've been following since he did SOS on this show is so very genuine and wholeheartedly puts everything he is into every single song/performance he's done!!! So again, thank you so very much 💕 #Dears4Life❤️🌹🌹🌹💞🕊️😇🙏

In all his Cover songs, Dimash and all his production team maintains much of the integrity of the original and demonstrates to me that he respects them and their original Performers. "Hello", (Lionel Ritchie), "Adagio" (Lara Fabian) "My Heart Will Go On" (Celine Dion) are great examples, as is this one, "The Show Must Go On". Look forward to hear you reactions to these as well as numerous other songs that will knock your socks off - if you wear them! You have a new Subscriber!
