@@Hypnobunny1 yes, I’ve seen every version. It’s Shakespearean in its scope and depth of perception. I can imagine so many post modern adaptations across so many cultures and situations - at bottom it exposes the bottomless depravity of mankind, and two women. lol.

Please be kind with the comments. I do my best and I know it’s not perfect. Each film takes between 8 and 20 hours to enhance, burning through a lot of electricity in the process. You get to watch them free and if you don’t like them, there are millions of movies you can watch on KZbin across many other channels. I work from home, a single PC doing all the work. I appreciate that you have come to the channel and hope you enjoy the movie. I know some people really don’t like colourisation and I did decide to do the entire collection in enhanced black and white (4k 60fps), KZbin removed my monetisation so I cannot earn back what I've paid out in electric and equipment. I have had no option but to remove all the black and white enhanced movies, I don't think KZbin understands the work I put into them and feel I did what other channels do, download from the archive and upload them to their channels without any work done. In the colourisation, I understand, there may be some grey ears, some of what looks like blue eyeliner on actors and some parts of colourisation that doesn’t turn out as good as I would like. I am doing my best and hope you appreciate the effort, thank you for watching :) If you have any requests, please let me know. As long as a film is in the public domain, I can enhance it in 4K and colourise it in HD.

Thank you for your kind words, greatly appreciated. It does get quite stressful sometimes when a movie doesn't turn out and I have to trash it after 8 to 14 hours of enhancing but eventually I get there with almost all the movies I try. Some take 3 or 4 attempts, others I am just very lucky with, they turn out as I hope. I will do as many as I can until I run out of movies. I have a new project planned, time lapse videos, camera is on the way, looking forward to it. I will mix up the channel a bit :)

I chose to watch this version because it was colorized. I've seen this movie, and all the remakes, more than once. It has an experienced, talented cast, excellent production values and Agatha Christie's stories never bore you. Her stories are like operas. They can be viewed many times w/out tiring one's imagination. I also like seeing the dress, the furniture, the sky, et al as it was when I was a child. You see, I'm older than the movie. Thanks to the poster for the colorization and the work performed to get this flickering shadow of history here for you to watch.

I don't know how this all works. Once you colorized this film couldn't you have just taken the colour out to make a black and white version. I love the B&W you just made but I'm curious why you couldn't just hit black and white and there would be the copy. A brief explanation if you get around to it. Also I've been looking for this particular version on disc only to find out it's your own talented version.
@SimonWard14 ай бұрын
I have started to do both on the later downloads but the older ones that I uploaded, I colourised but storing them was impossible, each one being around 40GB, I basically ran out of space so the only copy is on KZbin and can only download in HD max. If I knew back then what I know now, I would have started with both colour and black and white and also bought a couple of storage drives, which I have now. The process starts with upscaling the original to 4K / 60fps that gives me the black and white version, I then colourise this upscaled version. It has been a massive learning curve, if I could go back in time, I would do it the new way and make sure I had plenty of storage :) I would have saved a lot of time and have hard copies of all the work I have done. So you are 100% correct and I am a little bit silly for not thinking things through from the start lol.
