This rattle has seen better days. it used to have colorful rubber ends but of course those had to go! 😆 however the remainder of the toy has survived for years!! He will out it in his toy box and it'll stay there for a few weeks until he decides ti bring it out and play without again and then that's all he will carry around the house for days 😍. I LOVE how his little playful mind works 🥰.

I cannot stress enough how heartbreaking this sad truth is.... Too many people impulse buy parrots because of cute or funny traits they've seen in other birds.
A life stuck in a cage is cruel and so unfair to these magnificent beautiful creatures.
They deserve the absolute best!
If you are interested in a parrot, adopt one because you have the time, money, patience, energy and if you want to save them from a life stuck behind bars, not solely because they are cute or funny or talk etc.
Again parrots are a LIFETIME commitment.
They can live up to 80+ years!! Which means they just might outlive you, and where will they go if something happens to you and one day you don't come home? What will happen to them? Who will love them and care for them? All things to consider....
I've given up many many things to give my two parrots and other animals the best life they can possibly have!
It is an honor to share our lives with these amazing creatures.

Please choose not to buy babies from a breeder who breeds for profit, there are thousands of birds suffering in cages abandoned and unloved waiting in sanctuaries and rescues, for homes to be cared for properly and loved.
PLEASE do your research and educate yourself before adopting, they are a lot of hard work but so worth it if you do things right and do what is best for them.
After all, we have our friends, our jobs, and our hobbies, they only have us💗❗️❗️

He absolutely does! All the time! I am just not usually recording when he’s on a rant cause it’s usually at the time of day when I am busiest or already preoccupied with something lol. There’s alot of times where I’ll pull my phone out to record and he will immediately stop chatting away. Which at that point I just let him be cause I don’t want to make him uncomfortable or ever force him to be on camera if he’s not interested 💜

@@bluejay713 what I recommend is looking through your local store at the baby section! That’s actually where I got this particular rattle and numerous rattle cars that he loves. They’re safe and gotcha loves them. Pet stores can have a wide range of smaller bird toys too or I would do an Amazon search as their selection should be large! 💜

Yep since I adopted him when he was 10 he’s had this walk we now call the “Gotcha strut” I’ve had him examined by his avian veterinarian. She determined he’s not in any pain or discomfort. But she could not determine why he walks that way. Either from a previous injury or he was just born that way 💜
