Outstanding, and love the way you teach it! Just bought a mandolin recently. I kind of learned Going to California from your mando video, but I really need your lessons like you explained this one to really get it. Would love more of that. This is why I love your channel! Everything from REO Speedwagon to mandolin within about 72 hours. You never know what's coming next. Thank you!

I always get exactly what I'm looking for from you, thanks. Band is doing this song and I needed those intro mandolin chords transposed to guitar.

The Hooters played at my middle school when I was a kid. I have yet to get a melodica!

Haha! I bought a Kentucky mandolin like 10 years ago from a guitar shop that was going out of business and clearing out their inventory, and this is honestly the first thing I've ever played on it! Thanks! That was painless and sounds fab!

Sounds good to me. That's how I describe my mandolin chords. I say things like "make a christmas tree shape".

beautiful mandolin JJ and super tone! Is it hard to tune?
@jamesjames92754 жыл бұрын
Well, the strings are more than 20 years old (seriously), so it's risky tuning them.

For a “non mandolin player,” you’re pretty darn good for sure.
