I have been using the Anderson dive shaft on my Excalibur II for quite a few years now, this is all old news. However I came up wit my own lower carbon fiber shafts a short one and a long extension for using the machine in the dry as a standard stand up detector. The Anderson shaft has worked as intended for as long as I have had it in some very extreme deep dives. To be absolutely honest this rig is pretty OLD news in 2023. Most have moved on to newer detectors especially for beach hunting. Quite suprised to see a report just popping up on the Excalibur II. I still keep my Excalibur II around as a fully engaged recreational lost item recovery diver I can take the Excalibur II to deeper depths than the Deus II. Excalibur II is also my goto machine when looking for lost electronics and cell phones. Those that have used and Excalibur II over a cell phone will know why as the Excalibur II provides a very distinct sound for electronics and just make it ideal for silty zero visibility dock drop cell phone recoveries when there is a lot of metal trash from boaters such as aluminum cans and other metal trash. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3Wrc5hvdr6eaM0 Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

Yea, I'm late to the party, as usual! Haha! This was my first time using the underwater shaft, even though it's not new. Since I'm just getting back into detecting after a lengthy break, I don't have any of the new detectors on the market. So, I'm using the machines I do have! :D Perhaps I'll get my hands on some of the newer ones. All in due time! Thanks for watching!

You're definitely getting better at pinpointing where the item is really hope you find something big to share with all of us ❤

That was a lot of fun! So glad to be seeing your videos again! Now if we can get Relic Recoverist to start doing metal detecting videos again we'll be set.

Thank you, and thanks for watching! I'm glad to be back at it again. Yea, I heard she stopped detecting and now does thrifting videos. I hear she's doing pretty good. Maybe one day she'll get back into detecting. :) Fingers crossed!

Lol! You know what, you're totally right! I was so excited to use my underwater shaft, I completely forgot about the island and whether or not it was still there. It was though. Haha! I'll have to go back out and get some footage to show what it looks like.

It's a nice addition to have. How was the island? I would imagine with the storms the good stuff is out in deeper water now. It's crazy how things get shifted by the waves. Glad to see out enjoying yourself again. And it will get better. You just have to find where things moved to. Thanks for doing the review. Keep em coming!

Yea, in my excitement to use the new underwater shaft, I completely forgot all about the island. Lol! Oops! The island was still there, surprisingly. I'll have to go back out and get some footage of it. Perhaps I'll take my dive gear and see just where all the goodies went.
@beepseatsfindingfoodtreasu8756 Жыл бұрын
@@SheDetector no problem, you'll be out there again. You already know where to look. If the dip in the beach goes down beyond the break. You'll have a pretty good amount of ringers. Hope you really find something amazing. Good luck.

I think you should go to the east side of Florida or the keys. There's a lot of sunk treasure from many many moons ago. People still find good stuff old Spanish coins and such. Good luck have fun

Oh yes, it's for sure a plan of mine to go hunt the east coast. I was supposed to go earlier this year but had to cancel at the last minute due to weather. :(

Thank you for de-trashing our ocean, too bad in California it's illegal to remove lead and mercury from the water ways by dredging for gold.

Wow, really? That's weird that it would be illegal. But, I do my part and make sure I take whatever trash I find while hunting. :D Thanks for watching!
