Cant call myself an expert but in my experience most well built lower end AR builds run just fine. I have a good AR and a couple cheap ones and all run great. I would never run my guns like Eric but its nice to see that I could if I wanted too. AR's are a great rifle. Wish I could afford more.

I don’t know how you can call that particular upper “budget” or “lesser quality” or “lower quality” from the specs Eric read off or its melt down performance. I would be interested to see how this upper shot on paper before the meltdown.

From what I've seen from Anderson, they just build so much that they can pass the savings on to you. I feel like they're more interested in putting solid rifles in peoples hands than squeezing every penny possible from sales. I've personally had good experiences with their products. Just my 2 cents

I absolutely love my Anderson M4!!! Built it piece by piece over 3 years. Yeah I know it took a long time but when you’re poor what can you do? It ended up being about $650-$700 when finished. Anyway after I got the gun broke In I’ve never had a single malfunction or problem. It’s not the R85 treated model. It’s my first rifle and I couldn’t be more happier with her. She goes and goes with surprisingly little oil and cleaning. Plus Anderson’s factory is only about 25 minutes from my house and I’m a firm believer in supporting local businesses.

This almost compares to my first time firing the 50 cal when I was in the Army. I was supposed to my NCO's AG. But he was getting out and was bored of shooting things like that. Me on the other hand I had a chubby just hearing the 50 fire off from the other points on the firing line. So instead my NCO tells me to take his 100 rounds and I can shoot them with my 100 rounds. My E6 is behind us and gets the idea I should link the two belts together. So I do this, now I have 200 rounds. I take my turn and load the MG and wait for the tower to tell us the ok to start shooting at our targets. Now I know I got 200 rounds I need to burn through so I knew I needed to hold the butter flys down a little longer lol. Instead it turned into me being like Rambo shooting his M60 into a police station. Just holding down the triggers and letting her rip. My NCO's just cheering and saying shoot this target shoot that target lol. The entire time the tower is just mono tone saying burst fire burst fire. I ripped through that 200 rounds damn quick and the barrel was red and pissing heat. It was the only time I got to do that but I will never forget the shit eatin grin I had when it was done.

Lol. Great shit bro. I’ve saw a .50 after around 500 rounds of continuous firing. The barrel, no shit, rose up like 2-3” and then started to fall to the ground, it almost ended up about 45 degrees down lol. That ma deuce was spitting the shit out of her rifling and was cherry red. The receiver was still good to go. A little CLP, and a barrel change and she was back in action.

In reality even in the military full auto M4's and M16's rarely get ran this hard so our semi-auto's would never get ran this hard or get this hot even if we pushed them and tried to get them this hot. It's nice to see how good they will do in a torture test just in case they fail earlier than expected, after seeing this I would not expect an Anderson to fail on me in any foreseeable situation.

I have had this gun for about 3 years and while it is not full auto, it serves the purpose and I can make it go as fast as my finger will allow. Not to mention that it is pretty accurate. 5 rounds in the same hole at 100yds. totally worth the money and would buy again.

The failed stove pipe ejection caused the other round not to chamber all the way, and then the heat caused it to detonate while not all the way chambered(ie cook off while out of battery). Edit: the stove pipe could've been caused by many factors, they just happen sometimes. I'm guessing it was from the high cyclic rate of the bcg, maybe a mix of bad ejector spring tension from the heat.

@@_SLAVEONE_ Misaligned, partially inserted shell into the chamber, you can see it just before it went off. if it didn't eject a spent case it would not strip a live round from the mag, just not enough room for a round to go into the chamber. Drum mag malfunction for sure. the helper dropped in in the dirt before the shooter placed it in the mag well. dirt/grass maybe. NOT the gun though.
@_SLAVEONE_
@_SLAVEONE_ 4 жыл бұрын
@@daverodkey let's stop being ignorant about it. This isn't rocket science. The brass wasn't ejected completely, jamming the rifle as the bolt came forward chambering the next round. It's that simple. Regardless of the magazine or drum. That's what happened.

THE BLACK FLAG and a lot of that looked like Tula which has quality control issues which can be overcome with minor adjustments to the rifle but if not done the extractor can be broken because of an off sized rim which has for me anyway led to a failure to extract but the round fired otherwise there would have been no gas for extraction so then a cook off wouldn’t be possible

Hello everyone, I am from Russia, but I think that the AR-15 is the best rifle. Thank you for the video
@NTJ1984
@NTJ1984 4 жыл бұрын
I would agree with you, under certain conditions. Here in the states due to ease of being able to get the rifle, how easy it is to find ammunition for it, the ease of use of the rifle, the near limitless amount of ways to customize the rifle, and finally, the fact that there is a wide variety of ammunition available for it makes it one of the best rifles. However, were I in Russia for a long period of time, say 2-4 years or more, I would buy an AK-47, or an AK-74, for most of the same reasons as I listed for the AR platform. The AK is better in the fact that you can physically beat the hell out of it, cover it in mud, drop it into a lake, pour sand down the barrel and it will still fire without any major issues. You can lean it up against a tree in the middle of the jungle, and as long as nobody takes it, come back to it a number of years later and it'll more than likely still work just fine. You can take parts out of it and will still work, according to what I have heard. Overall, there is no perfect gun. They all have good points and bad points. Case in point, I love the Barrett M-82A1 Light 50. It's a .50 Cal anti material rifle. It's the next long arm I'm going to buy. But I'd trade it out in a heartbeat if I had to clear a building. An AR or AK would be better for that task, and ideally I would use a shotgun.
